Series MG 1-0-2, Artifacts, consists of 17 CNE badges, presented to Claire Coates in her capacity as a member of the Canadian National Exhibition Association, Women's Committee, and as an associate director, director and vice-president, and 14 lapel pins issued by the CNE.

Fonds primarily consists of material accumulated during Mary Grey’s career at the National Museum of Science and Technology (renamed in 1999 the Canada Science and Technology Museum). The fonds is arranged into three series: GRE-1) Astronomy Lantern Slides; GRE-2) Curatorial career files; and 3) Second World War memorabilia. GRE-1) consists of 524 lantern slides illustrating 23 different subjects. The slides were collected by Mary Grey over her career. Series GRE-2) Curatorial Career consists of slide shows, photographs and research material. The series primarily consists of her work on Haley’s comet. GRE-3) Second World War memorabilia consists of correspondence and ephemera related to several women during the war.

Fonds consists of correspondence, notes, drafts, publications, clippings photographs, educational aids (star map and constellation abbreviations), and other material from the academic, professional, and post-retirement career of Miriam Burland. University records include a scrapbook from a tour she took as an undergraduate, a graduation photograph, and notes taken from the astrophysics course given by A. V. Douglas at McGill University from 1926-1927. Records from her career at the Dominion Observatory include photographs as well as correspondence and texts she wrote as an astronomer and later as a public relations education officer. The fonds also contains materials related to her work with the Ottawa Centre section of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and with the National Museum of Science and Technology. The records are arranged in rough chronological order.

Also included are miscellaneous course material, book reviews written by Black, York University's Office of the Status of Women material including a run of "The Second Decade", publication lists created by Black, documents regarding the establishment of the Women's Studies programmes at York, and the enhancement of the Nellie Langford Rowell Library at York.

Fonds consists of Lindstrom's professorial and scholarly research files throughout her career, as well as records documenting her academic activities. Research files pertain to her publications and monographs such as "Defiant Sisters : A Social History of Finnish Immigrant Women in Canada, 1890-1930" (both the English and Finnish editions), and "From Heroes to Enemies : Finns in Canada, 1937-1947," as well as book chapters, articles, papers, presentations and lectures, and her involvement with the National Film Board production "Letters from Karelia," and subsequent research. The research files span the activities of Finnish and Finnish-Canadian organizations across the political spectrum, such as the Finnish Organization of Canada (left wing), and Loyal Finns in Canada (right wing). Records include oral history interviews (audio cassettes and transcripts), research notes, clippings, a significant and extensive number of photograph and letter collections passed down through generations of Finnish Canadians, diaries, correspondence, publication drafts, academic and professorial notes, microfilm of Finnish language newspapers published in Canada and archival records, financial records of Finnish-Canadian organizations such as newspapers and post-World War II relief funding bodies, scrapbooks, photocopies of rare and unusual documents such as two volumes of a Soviet register of Finnish War Crimes, a list of persons found in the mass grave at Karhumaki, and Soviet lists of North American Finns who journeyed to Karelia to help build a socialist utopia there, academic and professorial files, publicity files, files pertaining to her work with the School of Women's Studies, and her own papers as a university student. The fonds also includes letters written by Lindstrom as a newly-arrived teenaged immigrant to Canada to her best friend in Finland; many of these letters were published in Finnish with English translation in 'Letters from an immigrant teenager' in 2012.

Fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran through her activities as a lawyer, legal reformer, and activist. These records illustrate the breadth and variety of McPhedran's work in the areas of constitutional reform, women's international and national rights, women's health, and violence against women and children. Included in the fonds are administrative records of a number of non-profit organizations and committees of which she was a founder, including the Women's Legal Education Action Fund, the Gerstein Centre, the Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence against Women and Children, and the Ad Hoc Committee of Canadian Women on the Constitution. The collection deals with equity in collective bargaining units, including issues of sisterhood and solidarity, education, human rights, anti-racism, aboriginal issues, affirmative action, violence against women, and the impact of technological change. The documents are arranged into files by organization, and they reflect the equity initiatives undertaken by unions to transform organizational practice and culture in order to ensure fairness and representation for women and members of other equity-seeking groups.
