Le fonds Association francophone pour le savoir-Sudbury (Acfas-Sudbury) témoigne des différentes activités et réalisations de l'association depuis ses débuts. Les ressources financières et administratives sont documentées, ainsi on y retrouve des procès-verbaux, des rapports et de la correspondance. On y retrouve aussi des documents de certaines activités organisées avant l'établissement officiel de l'Acfas-Sudbury. Dans le cadre des nombreuses activités de l'Acfas, qui sont documentées, la majeure partie des dossiers traitent de l'organisation de la Journée du savoir et des divers colloques. Mentionnons des affiches et des programmes. Le fonds d'archives témoigne des 30 ans de l'Acfas dans la région, ceci avec un colloque en 1975. Notons aussi qu'il y a des photographies qui illustrent la Journée du savoir et les conférenciers.

Le fonds d'archives est divisé en 3 séries : I Administration; II Ressources Financières; III Informations et Communications.

Le fonds Georgette Simard-Paquette témoigne des nombreuses activités bénévoles de madame Paquette et de son implication dans la communauté sudburoise. Les différents programmes d’évènements spéciaux, procès-verbaux, états financiers, rapports et photographies documentent la participation et l’implication de Madame Simard-Paquette au sein des divers organismes, mais nous renseignent aussi sur ceux-ci. Bien que ce fonds d’archives ne contient pas des documents de toutes les organisations au sein desquelles elle a été active ou participante, mentionnons entre autre, les états financiers et programmes du ‘Bal des petits souliers’ de la Ligue Jeunesse féminine. Il en est de même pour les nombreux documents du Centre des jeunes tels que rapports, états financiers, photographies, documents administratifs et aussi coupures de presse et programmes d’évènements culturels. Ces dossiers permettent non seulement de constater le rôle de Madame Simard-Paquette au sein de ces organismes mais nous informent aussi sur les activités et l’évolution du Centre des jeunes maintenant connu sous le nom de Carrefour Francophone. Les procès-verbaux des Auxiliaires du Club Alouette et les plaques honorifiques documentent les activités de celles-ci et nous informent sur le Club Alouette en générale. En effet les nombreux certificats honorifiques et articles soulignant ses différentes activités, réalisations et participations à des évènements sociaux témoignent non seulement de son implication sociale mais aussi de l’appréciation de son travail et de son continuel dévouement pour différentes causes à caractère social.

De nombreuses feuilles de musique des années 1930 et 1940 (surtout de musique de film), et des publications anniversaires de certains groupes sociaux et des magazines complètent ce fonds d’archives.

The Canadian Association in Support of the Native Peoples (CASNP) collection consists of the documentation accumulated by the CASNP. There are no administrative files or other records that address the administration or activities of the Association.

The resources consist of photocopies of newspaper clippings, reports, studies, and statistics. The documentation accumulated by CASNP provides an overview of the life conditions and status of Indigenous Peoples (First Nation, Inuit and Metis) in Canada for over 20 years. Most of the files concern Indigenous communities in Canada but some files address situations of Indigenous Peoples in the U.S.A., Mexico, New-Zealand, Australia and Africa. The different documents are filed under topics and cover many issues such as: education, rights, economy, life conditions, culture, racism, health, government policies (federal, provincial and municipal), as well as Indigenous associations at different political levels.

Soroptimist Club fonds

These records relate to the establishment and first years of operation of the Women's Studies program at Lakehead University. After a proposal in 1988, the first classes ran in the 1990-1991 academic year. The program developed quickly, with more courses added and cross-listed, and Women's Studies was granted status as a Department in 2002.

The records, most of which date 1990-1996, include minutes of the Women's Studies Advisory Committee, and correspondence about the program and its courses. Some files also relate to fundraising, and local events and issues.

Fonds reflects J.W. Trusler's work as Chairman of the Executive Council of the Northeastern University Committee (1959-1960) and as Chairman of the Executive Council of Northeastern University (1960-1967), specifically documenting his leadership in the campaign to establish a university in North Bay that eventually led to the founding of Nipissing College. To a lesser extent, the fonds also documents Trusler's work from 1967 to 1971 as Chairman of Nipissing College's Board of Governors.

Fonds contains one series and consists mostly of correspondence, minutes, agendas, memoranda, reports, programs, media clippings, speeches, and presentations.

Fonds reflects the North Bay Community Concert Association's organization and sponsorship of musical concert series in North Bay, and also contains records pertaining to the Association's governance and administration. Records span the entirety of the Association's existence from 1943 to 1984, and slightly beyond it. Records are arranged into three series based on function or documentary type. Textual records in the fonds consist of annual reports, by-laws, membership lists, concert programs, promotional material, correspondence (primarily with booking agencies, grants agencies, and local community groups), meeting minutes, scrapbooks, and newspaper clippings about concerts and events. The fonds also contains promotional photographs and other publicity material regarding concert performers, which was provided by the booking agency.

Fonds consists of Lindstrom's professorial and scholarly research files throughout her career, as well as records documenting her academic activities. Research files pertain to her publications and monographs such as "Defiant Sisters : A Social History of Finnish Immigrant Women in Canada, 1890-1930" (both the English and Finnish editions), and "From Heroes to Enemies : Finns in Canada, 1937-1947," as well as book chapters, articles, papers, presentations and lectures, and her involvement with the National Film Board production "Letters from Karelia," and subsequent research. The research files span the activities of Finnish and Finnish-Canadian organizations across the political spectrum, such as the Finnish Organization of Canada (left wing), and Loyal Finns in Canada (right wing). Records include oral history interviews (audio cassettes and transcripts), research notes, clippings, a significant and extensive number of photograph and letter collections passed down through generations of Finnish Canadians, diaries, correspondence, publication drafts, academic and professorial notes, microfilm of Finnish language newspapers published in Canada and archival records, financial records of Finnish-Canadian organizations such as newspapers and post-World War II relief funding bodies, scrapbooks, photocopies of rare and unusual documents such as two volumes of a Soviet register of Finnish War Crimes, a list of persons found in the mass grave at Karhumaki, and Soviet lists of North American Finns who journeyed to Karelia to help build a socialist utopia there, academic and professorial files, publicity files, files pertaining to her work with the School of Women's Studies, and her own papers as a university student. The fonds also includes letters written by Lindstrom as a newly-arrived teenaged immigrant to Canada to her best friend in Finland; many of these letters were published in Finnish with English translation in 'Letters from an immigrant teenager' in 2012.
