Agora was the monthly newsletter/magazine published by Lakehead University's faculty and staff. It was published by the external relations office, and read by many in the university community.

Lever, A.B.P. (Alfred Beverley Philip), 1936-Photographs and letters written by Alma Pearl McMullin, a teacher at the Talbotville Public School (Southwold School Section Number 6) from 1939-1944. Fonds includes class photographs of her students, and letters that she sent to her boyfriend at the time, W.L. "Jimmy" Ward. At the time, teachers had to resign on marriage. Alma and Jimmy were married in July 1944.

It also includes notes and drafts of her own writing including her undergraduate and graduate research, articles, book reviews, conference papers, drafts of her translations and a collection of chap books and broadsheets accumulated over the course of her career.

The correspondence, telegrams, and newspaper clippings primarily concern Barbara Hanley’s election as Mayor of Webbwood. The pictures consist of two photographs of Hanley and one group photograph. The article was written by Hanley on the subject of civic responsibility for a secondary school magazine. The newspaper clippings are from local and national papers.
