There have been three accruals. The first accrual measures 5.9 m, and consists of photographic slides, cameras, and projectors belonging to Grace Leather. The slides cover the period 1951-1977 and are arranged by country. The second accrual (28-1996, 32-1996) measures 1.2 m, and is arranged into the following series: personal correspondence; legal correspondence and documents; Canadian Red Cross society; Samuel B. Freeman scrapbooks; memorabilia; certificates and awards; photographs and albums. It includes legal correspondence relating to the family property on 341 James St. South. The third accrual (29-1998) measures 3 cm and consists of correspondence, news clippings and a photograph.

There are two accruals. The first accrual is arranged into 3 series: Thomas Carlyle correspondence, other Carlyle family correspondence, other materials. The second accrual measures 12 cm and is concerned with Thomas Carlyle's nephew, also named Thomas Carlyle (1833-1921). It consists of correspondence, financial statements, photographs, notebooks, and photocopies of diaries.The second accrual also contains books which have been separately catalogued.

Eric Walter White fonds

There have been two accruals. The first accrual consists of research materials White gathered for his writings on English opera. It includes letters from Ethel Smyth and correspondence of other composers, photographs and engravings. The second accrual consists mainly of an incomplete run of White's correspondence relating to his work as an arts administrator. Some correspondence concerns The Poetry Book Society Bulletin.

The collection is mainly concerned with Blake's visit to Toronto in September and October of 1899 and Cronin's wish that the visit serve as expression of support for Irish Home Rule. Besides correspondence between Cronin and Blake, the collection contains a holograph copy of a letter from Lord John Russell (1792-1878) dated 16 October 1839, letters from Senator John O'Donohoe and various notes for speeches by Cronin, one dated as late as 30 May 1919.

There have been two accruals. The first accrual consists of prints pertaining to Canada from a variety of nineteenth-century journals. Subjects include the railway, visits of the royal family, sports, ship building, the search for Franklin, Niagara Falls, and various communities and cities. The second accrual consists of photocopies of two photograph albums containing pictures of McMichael uncles and aunts. There is also one photograph of McMichael uncles. The photograph is a reproduction done in 1995 from a nineteenth century photograph. There is a list identifying the uncles.

Robertson.

The collection consists of 23 letters from McGee to John O’Donohoe (1824-1902), a senator. The McGee collection also contains the research materials of J. Alexander Wallace, M.P., who wrote a Master’s thesis on McGee at McMaster University in 1916. The materials include: correspondence, interview notes with John M. McGee, half-brother of Thomas D’Arcy McGee, typed copy of a letter from McGee to A. M. Sullivan, editor, Nation, Dublin, 25 June 1866, and research notes concerning McGee and Whelan.
