Series consists of one (1) autograph album originally owned by Josephine Caroline Stuart Grant when she attended Brookhurst School in Cobourg, c1878-1881. The book contains passages from literature, personal messages, signatures, and small drawings, by Josephine's classmates and others whom she encountered during her time at Brookhurst, and living at Ballintruan in Port Hope.
Item is a framed and signed portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria. Gold-gilt framed photogravure of Queen Victoria; presented in 1900. The original oil painting was created by Heinrich von Angeli in 1885. Photogravure is signed by Queen Victoria.
Item is a 1st edition, 1901 copy of "Port Hope Historical Sketches" signed by the author W. Arnot Craick in 1963. Also included is a copy of the prospectus that was created about 1900 for advertising purposes.

Shane, Mary (nee Ferguson)This series contains essays and stories written by Phillip Ketchum during his lifetime. Specific dates unknown.
Titles include The Sexual Life of Adolescent Boys and its Relation to Education, Some Aspects of Literary Criticism, The Return; Memories of Returning to Port Hope from a Kawartha Canoe Trip, Going Abroad (a fictional account of an ocean voyage), A Pig Fair, and Snaps of the Irish Quota.
File consists of an art folder and watercolours by Henrietta Haultain in 1914. First painting dated Sep 1914 "The little white house in the first valley of Monkey Mt. Port Hope" and "The view from the top of the hill, Monkey Mountain Oct. 22nd 1914." This image appears to show Trinity College School.
Collection consists of five (5) copies of the "Our Commander March" Sheet Music written by J.W. Chadwick, 1916. The March was dedicated to Lieut-Col. R.W. Smart of the 139th Battalion, Port Hope; and published by Empire Music and Travel Club Ltd., 26 College Street, Toronto.
Fonds consists of three (3) blueprints of The Bluestone House, 1918; various Port Hope receipts; receipts from the Port Hope Hospital Trust; and publications related to Monsignor Leo. A. Cleary.
Item is a painting by Canadian actor and artist Robert Imbert Orchard (1909-1991). Oil, unframed painting. Written on verso: "Painted by Robert Imbert Orchard when a student in J. W. Beatty's class at Corbett's Mill, Port Hope. The "Julia B. Merrill" ship painted in Port Hope harbour 1928. She was afterwards burnt at Sunnyside August 1931 to amuse the public. One of the last lake schooners had been a rum runner, then was carrying coal." Orchard would have been 19 years of age when he painted this. He had returned to Port Hope for a visit in the summer of 1928, which coincided with the fire of 1928 at Trinity College School.
File consists of two (2) prints which originally hung in the Port Hope & District Hospital. Lord Willingdon served as Governor-General to Canada 1926-1931; One of Lady Willingdon and one of Lord Willingdon, both autographed.
