Fonds consists of a photograph scrapbook from original Appleby student Ford Stuart Strathy, and photographs of Alastair's time as a student at Appleby. Both give a pictorial history of the early decades at Appleby and capture teachers and staff from Vernon Harcourt de Butts Powell, Headmaster John Guest, T.B. Colley, E.W. Whittington, Same Clarke, Mr. Adams and Miss Bird, as well as Appleby students, and the campus.

Item is a framed document entitled "Roll of Honour. Canton School." It includes the names of students who received top honours in class during the years 1911-1921. The document lists names of the following teachers: Miss A.P. Mason (1911), Miss A.L. Langdon (1919), Miss E.R. Peacock (1920), Miss S. E. Dundas (1921). The fonds consists of the Whitby WI's minute books, one Tweedsmuir history, and event programmes. Records are arranged chronologically in subject files.

The series contains correspondence, newsletters, photographs, scrapbooks, postcards, diagrams, clippings, bulletins, brochures, programs, song sheets, posters, publications, dramatic scripts, and reports. This material is related to the history of the third Mother House of the Sisters of St. Joseph in London, which was called Mount St. Joseph. There is information about the construction of the building and detailed information about its special features and decoration, including the Immaculate Conception Chapel, and its grounds, particularly the Grotto. The records also relate to planning the construction of, and move to, the Sisters’ residence in 2007, and the sale of the Mount St. Joseph building and property. There are records which reflect communal life in the convent, including the various organized groups, events, and dramatic and musical entertainment, and menus, meal planning, and recipes. The series contains records related to men religious who served at the Mother House, and other Diocesan correspondence. Information about both Fatima Hall and Ignatia Hall can be found, including the various uses of space in these buildings.

Fonds consists of records related to Angus (class of 1917) and Rusty Dunbar's (class of 1957) time as students at Trinity College School. Included are a scrapbook, a duodecimo with inscription by Angus's mother Maud Dunbar, and two bronze academic medals.

Le fonds d'archives du Conseil scolaire de district catholique du Nouvel Ontario (CSCNO) est composé principalement d'ordres du jour, de procès-verbaux, et de coupures de presse. Le fonds contient aussi 53 photos noir et blanc de la construction de l’édifice du CSCNO en 1972, et deux livres.

The Bill Beaton fonds consists mostly of correspondence, reports, personnel files, speeches and documentation. They pertain to the mayoralty during the economic boom years (1939-1958) for the city of Sudbury . The speeches were given at local events and at CKSO radio on a weekly basis. The records provide insight to the structure of the education system and the infrastructure of the developing city. Within the documents of the fonds, there are 3 scrapbooks of newspaper clippings. This fonds also contains documentation on the community of Sudbury that includes: service clubs, education, Inco and the hiring of employees, W.E. Mason, and the city championships. The correspondence and the documentation files also reveal the political views of Bill Beaton on national and international issues. Specific topics regarding the debate over the Canadian flag, and World War II are well documented. Photographs of the Beaton family (originally created ca. 1916-1950) contained in the fonds are copies of the originals, which were kept by the family.

Fonds also includes professorial files documenting his teaching at the University of Toronto and York University; Canadian Institute of International Affairs files; research files; and other material reflecting his varied interests in history, current events and world politics.

Fonds consists of records and research files on schools in East Elgin compiled by Evelyn McNeil for a 2006 publication entitled "Evolution of Schools: From Quill to Computer". This fonds is comprised primarily of secondary sources, but also includes some original records relating to the teaching career of Mrs. McNeil.
