Williams; (3) Envelope stamped 1861 addressed to "Arthur H. Williams Esq Port Hope C. W.;" (4) Envelope addressed "Arthur T. H. Williams Esq MP Ottawa, O." 1881; (5) A postcard postmarked 1907 sent to Mrs. Passmore, Hill & Dale, Port Hope. Scene on front is "R. N. W. M Police Barracks Regina tower is where Louis Riel was hanged."

Reeve, W. HaroldItem is a handwritten letter discussing a large number of deaths and the procession in Toronto. Letter is dated July 5, 1866. The author of the letter is A. P. Rice, writing from B. A. Cottage, Toronto, C. W. and speaks also of his studies in Toronto. References in letter are made to "F. Little" and "Elijah" (believed to be Elijah Rice 1843-1920).
Marshall Blanchard Dean was an early physician in Fort William; his son Marshall Macdougall Dean had a career with the Canadian Coast Guard and a lifelong interest in history and genealogy. Collection includes correspondence, photographs, and research materials.
Series consists of newspaper clippings and a Birthday Scripture Book concerning Terralta (158 Dorset Street West) and the Benson family (mainly Clara Cynthia Benson, PhD), 1868-1986.

Series consists of thirty-seven small diaries created by William J. Goheen (descended from Jesse Goheen),1872-1918. The diaries are daily log books and contain information on William’s daily duties, interactions, and life in Port Hope.
Goheen, William J. (1847-1927)This large collection contains letters from family and friends to Charles and Stella Wagar at Napanee, Ontario, as well as letters from their children, some of which were written during World War Two. Much of the material reflects the leisure interests of the family including fraternal orders such as the Oddfellows, Masons and Rotary and patriotic endeavours such as Red Cross. There are three scrapbooks kept by Allan Walters when a boy during the First World War and six scrapbooks kept by Margaret Walters, c1920-1925. The fonds contains a large quantity of ephemera such as greeting cards and local calendars, travel souvenirs, as well as mementos from meetings, concerts and plays held in the Napanee, Ontario area. There are classroom notes from all three children, including some notebooks kept by Margaret Walters while studying nursing. From Stella Walters came a large collection of sheet music which she used at home and during her many public performances, and another series of cook books. There is also some memorabilia from the Wagar family during the 19th century.
