The fonds consists of materials documenting William Dendy's life and career as an architectural historian. Includes university course notes, research material for published works, research material on the history of Canadian architecture and other research interests such as Forest Hill, Hamilton, the architects Frank Darling and William Somerville, and the Massey family. Some materials relate to Dendy's teaching activities, Toronto walking tours and consultancy projects. Includes articles, card files, clippings, correspondence, electronic records, ephemera, manuscripts, maps, ms. and ts. notes. Graphic materials include photographs, negatives, and approximately 40,000 slides (including more than 17,000 images of Canadian architecture, urban space, and landscape). One document on vellum: a grant of land in Hastings County, Upper Canada to Frederick Keller, heir of the original grantee, his brother David Keller, deceased, dated Feb. 10, 1835.

Fonds consists of two volumes, one a letter book R. Boehmer & Co., 1900-1908, and the other the minute book of the Kitchener, Waterloo and Bridgeport Coal Dealers Association, 1919-1936. E.S. Boehmer was secretary of the Association and H. Boehmer was a member. Also included is a small amount of ephemera.

This file consists of photocopies made for K.M. McLaughlin by the National Archives of Canada and consists of documents pertaining to the Acadian Club raid and the attempt to gain restitution from the government. The file contains copies of letters by N.A. Zick, President of the Acadian Club, W.G. Weichel, M.P., Sir Sam Hughes, Minister of Militia and Defence, and others, as well as a memorandum of damage done and recommendation of the Court of Inquiry.

This file consists of photocopies purchased from the National Archives of Canada of a single volume described as Waterloo County real estate transactions 1897-1910. The transactions consist of deeds and mortgages dated 1901-1910, with an index, relating primarily to parcels of land in Berlin [i.e. Kitchener], Ontario.

This fonds consists of three groups of photocopies accumulated by David R. McKnight for research. The first is a photocopy of Newmarket Cemetary Burial Records, 1869-1901, used for McKnight's publication Newmarket Cemetary Burial Records (1869-1901): a transcription from the Land Registry Office Records, York County Copybooks / transcription & production David R. McKnight, proofreading and editing, Rosemary Willard Ambrose. - [S.l.]: The Author, [1994]. The second is photocopies from an unknown source of documents relating to the Waterloo area. These include photocopies of official typescript transcriptions of land grants relating to land along the Grand River dated 1798, of a grant made to King's College in 1828, of maps from unidentified published works but originally from the National Archives of Canada, and photocopies of a number of 19th-century ms. agreements and indentures. Some of the items were originally stamped "Property of Registry Office, County of Waterloo". The third group of photocopies is a copy of a volume from the Archives of Ontario entitled "Crown lands" dated 1857, containing descriptions of same in Waterloo, Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries townships.

Fonds consists of materials by and about Mary Quayle Innis. Includes correspondence written mostly to her daughter, Anne Innis Dagg from 1956 to 1968, and notes kept while Dean of Women at University College, 1954-1961. Also present are files compiled by Anne Innis Dagg, including a biographical essay on Mary Quayle Innis and files relating to a proposed collection of her short stories and pieces with an introduction by Anne Innis Dagg.

Accrual consists primarily of correspondence between members of the Quayle Innis family and friends, as well as one diary, and ephemeral material.

Fonds consists of records relating to Edwin B. Dunke, the Benton St. Baptist Church, the German Baptist Church of Berlin, and the Dunke & Co. grocery store. Includes accounts of the German Baptist Church from 1894-1923; annual reports and financial statements for the Benton St. Baptist Church ca. 1919-1930; and "day books" of the Dunke and Co. grocery store. The latter include customers' names, purchases and store inventories that reveal the daily lives, diets and purchasing patterns of local families and individuals from 1896 to 1930.

One volume of household accounts, 1911-1919, kept by an unidentified female, probably from the Port Elgin, Ont. area.

Deed of bargain and sale on vellum, dated December 12, 1834, details a transaction between Vincent Dewell, and his wife Harriet, with Henry Smith regarding a plot of land in exchange for 50 pounds. The plot of land is identified as the west part of lot 29 on the 8th concession of Hope Township in Durham County, Upper Canada. Two red wax seals appear on the bottom right corner of the deed.

Fonds consists of financial records of the Hespeler Furniture Co., Hespeler (now Cambridge), Ont. Includes Hespeler Furniture Co. day book and journal, 1901-1904; cash book 1903-1906; 5 ledgers from 1907 to 1943, accounts payable 1936 to 1964, and eight financial statements between 1916-1940.
