Included in the series are journal articles, correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings, research papers and paper presentations, handwritten notes, flyers, press releases, and other textual material. Records also include Lenskyj’s involvement with the Gay Games, the University of Toronto Committee on Homophobia, The Woman’s Common, and Project Affirmation. Several of the articles in the series are authored by Lenskyj.

This series consists of records maintained by Helen Lenskyj relating to issues regarding sexual orientation and homophobia and initiatives within the Toronto Board of Education and overall Toronto school system. Records relate to the Triangle Program, the activities of Citizens United for Responsible Education (CURE), Education Against Homophobia, the Status of Women Committee, and general LGBTQ issues in youth and education. Included in the series are correspondence, memoranda, flyers, newsletters, pamphlets, press clippings, reports and papers, resource guides, minutes and agendas, brochures, and other textual records.

This series contains audio-visual materials relating to Helen Lenskyj’s work on gay sports and interviews with feminist singer-songwriters Heather Bishop and Holly Near who are also LGBTQ rights activists. Records include SexTV episodes on Homosexuality and Sport, Gay Games Amsterdam 1997, The Last Closet: Gays in Sports, and EGALE Canada’s Courage in the Face of Hate (2012) documentary.

This series consists of one coloured photograph of the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives exhibit at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The print is accompanied by a letter to Helen Lenskyj, Board of Directors, Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives, from the Exhibits Coordinator for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Included in the fonds are correspondence, memoranda, reports, notes, pamphlets, newspaper and magazine clippings, press coverage on Gay Games, research papers, resources and information on sexual health mainly for youth and parents, and other textual records. Records also document her involvement in addressing and challenging homophobia and other LGBTQ issues in the Toronto school system through projects and organizations such as Project Affirmation, a research project of the Coalition for Lesbian & Gay Rights in Ontario (CLGRO) looking into the health care and social service needs of sexual minorities in Ontario, Status of Women Committee, and Education Against Homophobia. Other materials included in the fonds are buttons, videocassettes, audiocassettes, optical disks, and a photograph.
