This fonds consists of Vesey Brown’s medical education and military certificates and personal correspondence, as well as material relating to Brown and Masingberd family property in London and Morpeth, Ontario. Majority of fonds consists of Series 4 that is Brown's work as watercolour artist, mainly depicting London, Port Stanley and Elgin County.

Fonds consists of drawings, watercolours and designs of A. H. Howard produced in Toronto between 1880 and 1914, especially in the sketchbooks in which Howard drew Ontario landscapes and towns, flowers, trees, human figures, factory interiors and other subjects. Similar drawings and watercolours are contained in two albums and a portfolio. Also included are examples of his decorative and calligraphic work from illuminated presentation addresses, certificates, bookplates and other materials.

The fonds consists of textual records and other material created and accumulated by Eloise A. Skimings during her career as a newspaper correspondent, teacher, poet, and composer in Goderich, Ontario.

The fonds includes business and personal correspondence, business and personal invoices and receipts related to Eloise Skimings professional and personal activities, family account books of her and her brothers, insurance records, bank records, music records, poetry, notebooks, scrapbook, tickets, invitations, announcements, cards of memoriam, newspaper clippings and articles, photographs, postcard, a drawing, and published poetry books. Some of the records relate to her brothers, Richard Skimings and William Skimings, as well as A.M. Polley, Mrs. Flora A. Polley, and S.B. Williams.

Letters, receipts, copybooks, songbooks and various ephemera relating to John Archer and his family. 16cm.

The papers consist of four series.

Series A: Archer family letters, most with stamped envelopes (1833-1856), Confederate money (1864) Files 1-17.

Series B: Philatelic collection, originals and xerox. (1884-1930). Many local businesses represented on envelope covers. Files 18-19B.

Series C: Receipts, invoices and deeds relating to the Archer and Breckenridge families. (1839-1930). Files 20-31.

Series D: Poetry and various other ephemera. (1793-1936). Songbooks and copybooks being the oldest in this series (1793-1837). Files 32-46.

The collection contains sheet music of some classical music, but consists mostly of popular tunes arranged for piano. Included are parlour pieces from the gay ‘90's; favourites from the Edwardian period; songs of the First World War; hits from the early days of recorded music; and music made popular by performers of early days of radio (1920's and 1930's). The records consists of several series. One series is correspondence to E. Ann Lowthian from Marjorie Blosdale. The majority of correspondence is to Bessie from different cousins and friends. There is also a series of Greeting Cards for Christmas, Easter, and other occasions. Of special interest are the programmes of The Mozart Music Club which operated for eighteen years. There are also several copies of the programme "Suzanne" written by Eric Minnitt. Another series is from the University of Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music which features invitation cards to Bessie for various student recitals. Other series include family photographs or negatives (not identified) and newspaper clippings.

CJBQ Radio fonds

This fonds contains one folder of notices including one from the Royal Commission for National Development in the Arts, Letters and Sciences, an outgoing notice pertaining to the addition of Kay Homan to the CJBQ staff, an invitation to a Radio Club Dance from 1958, the Christmas Eve program and holiday wishes for 1959, a newspaper clipping with a photograph of Sports Editor Jack Devine contemplating using a Pogo Stick in the 1969 Walk-a-thon, and a blank cue sheet for the weatherperson. The publications folder contains an advertising brochure entitled, "The Things We'll Do This Summer," several copies of the serial 'CJBQ cues' and the 'Voice of the Bay of Quinte' newsletter. The final folder contains information pertaining to the Grove Island archaeological work and reporting done by News Editor Gerald Boyce.
