Fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Ron Rosenes. The records document the activities of several HIV/AIDS-related organizations based in Toronto, particularly the AIDS Committee of Toronto and the Canadian Treatment Action Council, in which Rosenes was involved as an activist. Records also document several AIDS conferences attended by Rosenes, and the 2006 AIDS conference held in Toronto. Included in the fonds are: correspondence, memoranda, reports, notes, presentations, programmes, agendas and minutes, financial records, and other textual material. The fonds also includes the script of a play by Edward Albee, a friend of Rosenes.

Fonds consists of records created and maintained by John Goodwin. The fonds largely consists of photographs documenting Goodwin’s life in Saskatoon and Toronto during the early and mid-1980s. The fonds also includes film reels maintained by Goodwin.

The fond consists predominantly of correspondence, reports, newsletters, minutes of meetings and other documentation relating to the history of the Gays of Ottawa during 1971-1986. The materials reflect the political action under taken by the organization on a local and national level. Materials also include those of the National Gay Rights Coalition (NGRC) of which Gays of Ottawa served as the national coordinating office during the mid 1970’s. Gays of Ottawa’s involvement with the Coalition for Gay Rights in Ontario (CGRO) is also shown through the number of documents held relating to the provincial group.

Fonds consists of records created and maintained by Tony Farebrother, a gay activist in Montreal. Records document the activities of l'Association pour les droits des gai(es) du Quebec (ADGQ); Gayline, a Gay Social Services Project of the Ville Marie Social Service Centre; Drop-In Gay, a social centre in Montreal; the National Gay Rights Coalition; and the Gay Coalition Against Repression. Included are: correspondence, flyers, minutes, press releases, press clippings, notes, a position paper, a manual, a constitution, and other textual material.

The fonds consist of records documenting the involvement of Mary Woo Sims with the Campaign for Equal Families and the Coalition for Lesbian and Gay Rights in Ontario. Included are fact sheets, notes, leaflets, agendas and meeting minutes, correspondence, briefs and reports, press releases, financial records, lists, speeches, legislation, press clippings, and other textual material.

This fonds consist of records relating to the life and work of Svend Robinson as Member of Parliament. Included in the fonds are correspondence, memoranda, reports, pamphlets, notes, press releases, press coverage, newspaper and periodical clippings, information kits, minutes and agendas, issues of ‘Ottawa Inside Out’ and ‘Ottawa Update’, speeches, copies of legal documents, copies of Hansard debates, flyers, post cards, greeting cards, petitions, and submissions to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights from various organizations and individuals. Records also relate to other LGBTQ issues and topics, including international rights, health, labour, and youth.

Fonds consists of organizational records and planning documents for the Lesbian Outdoors Group from 1995-2007. Meeting minutes detail disagreements over funds allocations, discussions of group management techniques, reflections on equity within the group and how social dynamics contribute to equity and inequity. A majority of the materials consist of handwritten or printed notes recording and planning LOG activities and meetings. The fonds also contain LOG promotional materials and photos.

Fonds consist of professional freelance photography created by David Hawe.

Fonds consist primarily of 35mm black and white and colour negatives. Printed photography mainly consists of contact images of related negatives.

A large portion of the photography consists of freelance modeling photography and headshots.

Represented personalities include many Toronto-based drag performers, Salah Bachir, Kyle Rae, Ru Paul, Sky Gilbert, Keith Cole, Scott Thompson, Madonna, Enza the Supermodel, Chris Edwards, R.M. Vaughn, and Dini Petty. Many photographs of Woody’s (bar) staff are also included.

Fonds also include photography taken at many events, such as Toronto Pride, plays at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, events at Toronto bars and clubs, drag shows, Mr. Leather competitions, Casey House events, leather parties, coronation of Empress and Emperor of Toronto, Harbourfront Film Festival, Win a Date with a Bartender, Hooker of the Year, Priape Fashion Show, Judy Garland Memorial Bowling League party, Cabbagetown Group Softball League events, Much Music, Unity Party, Halloween at the Masonic Temple, "Cedars" campground opening, among others.

Fonds also include photography for advertisements for Toronto clubs and bars, such as Woody’s, Chaps, Boots, Ciao, Rock ‘n’ roll fag bar, Power (bar), Toolbox (bar), The Barn (bar), Bar 501, Bar 457, among others.

Fonds also include photography conducted for magazines and newspapers, including I.C.E. Magazine, FAB Magazine, XTRA!, Icon Magazine, Points, and Advocate.

Fonds also include photography taken at or for the promotion of fundraisers, such as People With AIDS, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre fundraiser, and MAC Viva Glam Fashion Cares.

Fonds also include some student photography conducted by Hawe during his studies at the Ontario College of Art (OCA).

Fonds also include some personal photography and correspondence with David Hawe’s friends and family.

The fonds consists of the organizational records of the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) dating from 1979 to 2014, ranging predominantly from 1983- 1993. The records reflect the governance and administrative activities of ACT, its work on HIV/AIDS prevention and sexual health education, its support services and its HIV/AIDS-related resources and guides. The fonds also contains material from events, forums, workshops and conferences that ACT organized, took part in, or attended, and records from its fundraising events and galas. There are records that resulted from ACT’s involvement in collaborative projects with various organizations, groups and government committees, and material that was collected by ACT and made accessible to the public through its Access, Resource and Information Centres. The fonds is composed of meeting minutes, correspondence annual reports, budgets, audited financial statements, brochures, posters, newsletters, guides and resources, surveys, questionnaires, subject files collected by ACT, clippings and flyers. Other material in the fonds includes videos, audiotapes and photographs.

The fonds pertain to the organizational records of The Body Politic, Canada’s gay liberation newspaper which sat under the parent publishing house Pink Triangle Press. The newspaper published from 1971-1987 in Toronto out of various downtown locations. The fonds consist of 10 series with multiple subseries. The fonds contains research notes, newspaper clippings, notes, meeting minutes, article drafts submitted, correspondence (international, national, local, prisoner), memos, financial, employee, advertising, and legal records.

The fonds contains the records of James Fraser, consisting of personal correspondence, articles by Fraser primarily about gay archives and history, newspaper articles about Fraser’s gay activism, a collection of historical editorials about homosexuality compiled by Fraser, and miscellaneous records pertaining to Fraser’s life and organizations with which he was involved. The fonds also includes obituaries and memorials for Fraser. While most of the records pertain to Toronto, his academic work was done in British Columbia, and some records relate to his early life and family in New Brunswick. The collected editorials are drawn from Canadian newspapers.

Fonds consists of records documenting the work and career of Charlie David (b. 1980 as Charles David Lubiniecki), a Canadian author, model, actor, and director. The collection consists of textual materials related to the life and work of Charlie David, including production and promotional materials, personal writing, articles and interviews, as well as photographs and moving images related to Charlie David’s professional projects.

The CLGRO fonds contains records pertaining to the operation and activities of the organization. There are financial records, correspondence, newsletters, meeting minutes, projects the coalition was involved in, as well as records pertaining to external and member groups, and records collected for the coalition’s own research and resource creation, such as clippings, periodicals, and other external materials.

The Community Homophile Association of Toronto fonds is composed of organizational records that document CHAT’s governance and administration, its community outreach efforts, education, support services, political advocacy, and its resource library. It includes bylaws and minutes, financial statements, grant applications, membership cards and applications, telephone logs, flyers, newsletters, briefs, correspondence, and resources collected on various subjects and homophile and gay liberation groups from across North America.

The records within this fonds pertain to the Coming Out Show, a Vancouver radio show. The fonds contains show notes, newspaper articles, cassette tapes, reel to reel audio tape, six scrapbooks, greeting cards, flyers, posters, photographs, correspondence, programme books, and notes. The records relate to the lives of those interviewed, as well as gay and lesbian life more broadly at the time in Vancouver, Canada at large, as well as at points internationally. David Myers’ partner Bill Houghton maintained the administrative and records management side of the show.

Fonds consist of records documenting the operations and administration of the Dignity Vancouver, a chapter of Dignity Canada Dignité (DCD). These materials were donated by Kevin Simpson, who played a prominent role in the Vancouver chapter, including time served as President and Liturgy Coordinator. Simpson also spent time in the role of President and in the role of Treasurer for DCD.
Included are Vancouver chapter meeting minutes, reports, conference and House of Delegate materials, correspondence, financial and budget materials (primarily for the national organization), press clippings, brochures, membership lists, materials regarding applying for charitable status, various versions of DCD’s Constitution, and other textual materials.
Dignity Canada Dignité is a national Roman Catholic organization advocating for change in regards to the Church’s teaching and leadership around sexual theology. As of 2015, their purpose is to work “within and without the Church to promote the full personhood of those who belong to sexual minorities, and we celebrate our sexuality as a gift of God. Records relate to Anderson's activities with the leather community in Canada, particularly the Canadian Leather Alliance / L’Alliance canadienne du cuir and the Mr. Leatherman Toronto Competition Inc. Records document the administration and incorporation of the Canadian Leather Alliance, and the organizing of its annual National Leather Contest. Records also document Anderson’s participation as a judge at various leather competitions (Mr. Leatherman Toronto, Mr. Atlantic Canada Leather 2003, International Leathersir and Leatherboy 2002, etc.), the judging process and criteria at leather competitions, and the administration of the Mr. Leatherman Toronto competition.
