Fonds consists of records created, received and acquired by the Association of Ontario Home Care Associates. Included in the fonds is correspondence, reports, surveys, internal memoranda, minutes of internal committees, membership lists, agendas and minutes of annual general meetings, treasurer's reports and financial statements pertaining to activities for the A.O.H.C.A. Also included are brochures, minutes, programs, correspondence, financial statements and attendance lists of annual Provincial Home Care Conferences sponsored by the A.O.H.C.A. Fonds also includes color photographs depicting delegates and activities and speakers at the 11th Annual Provincial Home Care Conference, held in Windsor in 1985. In addition, the fonds contains a set of ten audiocassettes consisting of addresses given at the 12th Annual Provincial Home Care Conference held in Ottawa in 1986. Recordings include speeches given by Scalo L. Tarrant, E. Nicholson, Werner M. Walsh, L. Kealey, and J. Nowell.

As well, the fonds contains two mounted photographs, depicting an exterior view (ca. 1890) and an interior view (ca. 1930) of the Markham Drug Company.

Charles T. Peterson fonds

Fonds predominantly consists of records created and acquired by Charles T. Peterson, and also includes records created and acquired by Harold K. Box. Included in the fonds are research and academic notes from Peterson's student career at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry, as well as some correspondence pertaining to Peterson's research interests, along with assorted newspaper clippings. Included in the fonds are case studies collected during Peterson's research of oral infections. These records include diagnostic and treatment histories, as well as slides and microscopy photographs of infected areas. In addition, the fonds includes records produced by Dr. Harold K. Box, who conducted research within the field of periodontology. Included in these records are primarily reprints of articles and studies, as well as Box's personal files, which include articles, clippings, correspondence, notes and articles on various topics such as fluoride, cervical caries saliva, occlusion, and periodontics. Research notes on immature immunity in children and the Dunlop Method of Oxygen Insufflation and Flouridation are included, as is Box's thesis pertaining to dental and associated tissues.

Fonds consists of originals and copies of records created and received by Geen's Prescription Pharmacy. Fonds includes prescription slips (1939-1950), a copy of "Druggists' Bulletin Service Price Book" (1951), suppliers' advertisements, product descriptions, price lists and order forms . The fonds also contains photocopies of articles and photographs including a computer printout of a "History of Geen's Drugstore of Belleville, Ontario" for the period 1833- , by A.F. Geen, written November 1994; photocopied excerpts from articles published in the Belleville "Intelligencer" pertaining to the Geen Pharmacy and family, which contain photographs of the pharmacy's exterior and interior, as well as of P.W. Geen and A.F. Geen. Also included are photocopies of photographs depicting exterior and interior views of the Geen Pharmacy at various times: 186-; 1865-1870; 1871-1887; October 1896; 1925-1930. Other materials include photocopied newspaper advertisements for the Geen Pharmacy and for the drugstore operated by A.M. Sheldon ca. 1833-1835. There are also photocopies of a receipt regarding the sale of the Holden Drug Co. to Albert L. Geen, signed by the seller J.C. Holden.

Geen's Prescription Pharmacy

John P. Robarts fonds

Fonds consists of the political and personal records of John Parmenter Robarts. Fonds includes correspondence, speeches and subject files created and collected by Robarts in his capacity as Minister of Education and Premier of Ontario. Fonds also contains materials from his Progressive Conservative leadership campaign in 1961.

In addition, the fonds contains Robarts' personal records such as correspondence with family members concerning his service in World War II, trips and family matters.

Also included are records created by Robarts' in his capacity as Chancellor for the University of Western Ontario and York University, and as a corporate director for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Bell Canada.

Fonds also includes 29 photo albums and 477 loose photographs. The photographs document Robarts' career as a Progressive Conservative politician, Minister of Education and Premier of Ontario. Photographers include Gilbert Milne and Yousef Karsh. Fonds also contains some personal Robarts family photographs.

In addition, there are 24 drawings and 1 engraved printed plate of various cartoons from Toronto, London, Windsor, and Winnipeg newspapers. Also included are: two charcoal sketches of Robarts, a 1950 Robarts election campaign poster, and 42 drawings by Robarts himself which he doodled while speaking on the telephone in the Premier's Office. Some of the latter drawings appear to relate to current government business matters; others not. One is a drawing of his Cabinet colleague, Al Lawrence.

Films include 8mm home movies, probably filmed by John Robarts, that show family events and fishing trips to Moosonee, Newfoundland and Labrador; and 8mm footage of the opening of a highway to Atikokan and Noden Causeway in the Rainy River District in 1965, as well as Robarts at an historical plaque unveiling in Niagara-on-the-Lake and military tattoo at Fort York. Films also include 16mm films of Premier's Christmas 1970 and New Year's 1971 messages; 1961 interview with John Robarts on his qualifications for the PC Party leadership; Robarts, Minister James Auld and others at Upper Canada Village on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1969; and compilation reels of film footage depicting events and highlights of Robarts years in the Premier's Office.

Sound recordings include recordings of media interviews with Robarts (1970, 1976); recordings of reports of the House of Commons Special Committee on the Disabled and Handicapped (1981); and a recording of the 1973 funeral of Leslie Frost, Robarts' predecessor in the Premier's Office.
