The Department of Information Management provides the systems infrastructure to support decision-making for the Hospital's managerial and clinical functions. Several key hospital information systems were implemented at Kingston General Hospital during the period covered by the predominant dates of the fonds. In addition, the Department played a lead role in the establishment of the radiology component of the Patient Care System (PCS) at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. Notably, the Department met the challenge of disaster planning surrounding Y2K. A. Douglas Alkenbrack fonds

This fonds consists mostly of letters and other material created and accumulated by Douglas Alkenbrack during his political career as a Progressive-Conservative back-bencher in the House of Commons from 1962 until 1979. There are a few items which pre-date 1962, mostly local history, his interest in Second Depot Dam, and his poetry. Mr. Alkenbrack's major federal concerns were the bilingualism and biculturalism issue (the "Bi and Bi Commission"); Canadian citizenship; capital punishment; gun control and pensions. Dr. H.C. Burleigh fonds

Fonds consists of the materials documenting transactions of the Bath Historical Society from 1937 until 1966. It also contains some historical items assembled by Dr. Burleigh, including: an account book for an unidentified distillery (1849-1890), the attendance register for South Fredericksburgh S.S. 3, a file folder labelled Henry Card containing papers dating from 1905 to 1954 and a book of farm recipes from the 1860's.

Edith Louise (Betty) Smith fonds

Fonds consists of items mostly pertaining to the William C. Miller family in Napanee during the last quarter of the 19th century and to Betty's childhood. The genealogy is incomplete, but concerns the Smith and Miller families. The photographs show some activities of Napanee clubs, such as the Tennis Club, Banjo Club and Bicycle Club. Peter Miller fonds

The fonds consists of four primary categories of material: personal papers, school board materials, business records of the Miller farm and genealogical research. Most of the personal papers are letters, postcards and greeting cards sent to the Millers, materials from Peter Miller’s school days and from his son, Peter Miller Junior (who was Editor of the Ernesttown Secondary School newsletter in 1962 and 1963). There are also some materials related to local Methodist activities, particularly the Switzerville Busy Bee Mission Band. Peter Miller also kept various enumeration lists for Prince Edward, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington Counties from 1938 until 1984 which were useful for his activities. Five property tax rolls for Richmond Township dated between 1873 and 1894 may have been used by Peter Miller’s grandfather. The school board materials include various accounts books, minutes of meetings of the Lennox and Addington Board, assessment reviews and correspondence. There are also Minute Books for Richmond S.S. 8 (1908-1942) and for Richmond S.S. 20 (1910-1948). The Miller Family Farm was a typical Ontario mixed farming operation which included dairy cattle and grains. Most activities were wound up following the death of Peter’s father in 1964. Farm records include bills, receipts, statements, lists of expenditures, circa 1916 until 1970. There are publications concerning breeding and showing livestock and instruction manuals for operating and repairing farm machinery. The genealogical research files contain Peter Miller’s notes about his own Miller line as well as the Husband, Martin and Switzer families. Lennox and Addington Historical Society sheet music collection

The collection contains sheet music of some classical music, but consists mostly of popular tunes arranged for piano. Included are parlour pieces from the gay ‘90's; favourites from the Edwardian period; songs of the First World War; hits from the early days of recorded music; and music made popular by performers of early days of radio (1920's and 1930's).
