The fonds consists of O'Hanlon's annotated typescript of the letter book of Henry Pringle from 1747 to 1782, her research notes, and correspondence concerning the Pringle family. The original letter book is in the National Archives of Canada. O'Hanlon used the pen name of Elizabeth Evory for the typescript.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, financial documents, membership lists, news letters and circulars. Barker also included some records of other associations either affiliated with the National Committee or of which Barker was a member, including the North York High School Teachers' Association, 1976-1982 and the Metropolitan Association of Supply Teachers, 1971-1975. Also included is biographical material he collected on Ralph Ellis and Doug Carr. Ralph Ellis was expelled from the Hamilton and District Labour Council in 1971. See also the Ralph Ellis fonds.

The fonds consists of Russell's library, manuscripts, correspondence, periodicals, offprints, leaflets, photographs, audio discs, audio reels, audio cassettes, films, videocassettes, microfilms, news clippings, posters, some furniture, artwork (including a bust by Jacob Epstein), awards and medals. It is supplemented by a supporting research library of books, theses about Russell, and periodicals. The fonds also contains the archives of Russell's parents, Viscount and Viscountess Amberley.

There have been four accruals which have been combined into one. The fonds is arranged into eight series: 1. Collective, expired, and defunct union agreements. 2. Minute books from general and executive meetings. 3. Proceedings of the Select Committee on Labour Relations. 4. Albert G. Hearn correspondence. 5. Service Employees International Union (Local 204) correspondence. 6. Financial records. 7. Arbitration proceedings. 8. Newspaper clippings. This fonds originally contained routine financial records such as cancelled cheques, invoices, bills, and petty cash statements that were discarded. The SEIU was contacted before disposal.

Harry J. Waisglass fonds

The fonds consists of five accruals. The first accrual measures 1.35 m, and consists of photographs, minutes, reports, memoranda, notes, and correspondence relating to Waisglass's various positions. The second accrual (20-1990) measures .45 m, and consists of addresses, articles, and notes by Waisglass in original and printed form, and files of correspondence and notes on some of the positions held by Waisglass. The third accrual (30-1996) measures 1.75 m, and consists of arbitration files, a research manual co-edited by Waisglass, and video and audio cassettes of interviews conducted by Waisglass with several labour leaders. The fourth accrual (33-1997) measures 33 cm, and consists primarily of arbitration and grievance files. The fifth accrual (15-2001) consists of correspondence, letters to the editor, lecture notes, articles, thesis, and biographical information.

John Brand fonds

The fonds consists of Brand's correspondence with Rev. Falcon, who was serving as Cure of Cramlington in Brand's absence, as well correspondence with Nathanel Punshon, an attorney in Newcastle, and other documents concerning Cramlington. Fonds is bound in covers with "Rev. J. Brand Private Papers Mss." stamped on spine.

There have been three accruals. The first accrual measures 5.9 m, and consists of photographic slides, cameras, and projectors belonging to Grace Leather. The slides cover the period 1951-1977 and are arranged by country. The second accrual (28-1996, 32-1996) measures 1.2 m, and is arranged into the following series: personal correspondence; legal correspondence and documents; Canadian Red Cross society; Samuel B. Freeman scrapbooks; memorabilia; certificates and awards; photographs and albums. It includes legal correspondence relating to the family property on 341 James St. South. The third accrual (29-1998) measures 3 cm and consists of correspondence, news clippings and a photograph.

Drafts, notes, illustrations in the form of photographs and negatives for his unpublished book, Provincial Life in Johnson's England As Disclosed in Local Newspapers.
