This fonds consists of the Brant Agricultural Society minute book (1862-1875), containing the minutes of directors' and annual membership meetings, which took place in Walkerton, reflecting the concerns and activities of the Society, as well as lists of competitors in the Brant Agricultural Exhibition / Annual Fall Fair. It also consists of a membership book containing the names and post offices of subscribers / members of the Society from 1868-1896, with information about dues paid. Enclosed in the membership book is "An Act to Further Improve the Agriculture and Arts Act, 1895"

While the majority of the photographs depict Bill and Grace Kunkel with their two boys, there are a few others of a football game and a telephone service center, for example. Although some of the individuals in the photographs are identified, most of the photographs are not dated, nor identified. There are a total of 110 black and white photographs and 2 color photographs. The collection also includes 2 newspaper clippings: one of the Sudbury Star and the other of the North Bay Nugget.

Fonds is comprised of nine black and white photographs of fishing scenes in Torbay, Portugal Cove and Witless Bay, Newfoundland and Big Bras d'Or, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, taken by William H. Carrick while he served with the R.C.A.F. in Newfoundland. The images appear to have been removed from an album. All images have text on the reverse.

Fonds consists of six scrapbooks pertaining to the 1957-58 season for the Whitby Dunlops hockey team. Scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and some handwritten observations by Ken. Scrapbook five follows the team's 1958 trip to Oslo, Norway to compete in the World Ice Hockey Championship which they go on to would win. Each scrapbook contains a table of contents at the beginning.

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, financial records, and Bryce M. Taylor's related material of the XV Olympic Winter Games Organizing Committee, and the Canadian Olympic Association, (1983-1988), detailing the planning for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. It also includes material from the National Advisory Council on Fitness and Amateur Sport, including correspondence, minutes of meetings, annual reports, (1986-1987). In addition, there is material from the Canadian Gymnastics Association, (1975), and proposals for athletic programmes at York University, including a proposal for football (1967).

Fonds consists of Lindstrom's professorial and scholarly research files throughout her career, as well as records documenting her academic activities. Research files pertain to her publications and monographs such as "Defiant Sisters : A Social History of Finnish Immigrant Women in Canada, 1890-1930" (both the English and Finnish editions), and "From Heroes to Enemies : Finns in Canada, 1937-1947," as well as book chapters, articles, papers, presentations and lectures, and her involvement with the National Film Board production "Letters from Karelia," and subsequent research. The research files span the activities of Finnish and Finnish-Canadian organizations across the political spectrum, such as the Finnish Organization of Canada (left wing), and Loyal Finns in Canada (right wing). Records include oral history interviews (audio cassettes and transcripts), research notes, clippings, a significant and extensive number of photograph and letter collections passed down through generations of Finnish Canadians, diaries, correspondence, publication drafts, academic and professorial notes, microfilm of Finnish language newspapers published in Canada and archival records, financial records of Finnish-Canadian organizations such as newspapers and post-World War II relief funding bodies, scrapbooks, photocopies of rare and unusual documents such as two volumes of a Soviet register of Finnish War Crimes, a list of persons found in the mass grave at Karhumaki, and Soviet lists of North American Finns who journeyed to Karelia to help build a socialist utopia there, academic and professorial files, publicity files, files pertaining to her work with the School of Women's Studies, and her own papers as a university student. The fonds also includes letters written by Lindstrom as a newly-arrived teenaged immigrant to Canada to her best friend in Finland; many of these letters were published in Finnish with English translation in 'Letters from an immigrant teenager' in 2012.

Le fonds comprend des documents audiovisuels portant sur les activités de la compagnie Gosselin Lumber. Des reproductions numériques de photos appartenant au donateur, ainsi que certaines reproduites avec la permission de Roland Caron et de Georges Gosselin illustrent aussi les opérations de la compagnie à Carey Lake et à Calstock. Le fonds contient aussi des documents textuels et audiovisuels au sujet du Tournoi des Deux Glaces. On y retrouve également une chronologie relatant la construction ou l’évolution des édifices occupés par les écoles de la région de Hearst et des photos portant sur la démolition de l’ancienne école Sainte-Gertrude à Smooth Rock Falls, en 2004. S’y greffent quelques documents variés.

Le fonds contient des documents relatifs à des tournois franco-ontariens de hockey féminin et masculin. On y retrouve également de l’information au sujet de l’équipe de hockey Midget, Les Élans de Hearst. S’y ajoutent quelques photos.

Collection consists of records collected by Françoise Noël in the course of research for her book Nipissing: Historic Waterway, Wilderness Playground (Toronto: Dundurn Books, 2015), about the historical development of the tourism industry in the Nipissing District. The collection was assembled over approximately five years leading up to the book's publication. It contains maps, photographs, postcards, tourist guides and brochures, souvenir booklets, event programs, yearbooks, and other material relating to the history of North Bay and the Nipissing District, especially the tourist industry. The collection is arranged into five series based on documentary form.
