The Collection holds the Windfields Farm property records and the older relationship between Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology and Windfields Farm, and the new relationship between the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Windfields Farm. There is a possible connection between the Windfields Farm property and the R. S. McLaughlin Family, Parkwood Estate, Oshawa, Ontario.
The Collection does not focus on the accomplishments of Northern Dancer; however, any information acquired by the Archives about Northern Dancer will be included.
