The records in this series are notebooks, notes, poetry drafts, draft and edited manuscripts, galley proofs, invoices, computer disks, correspondence, and grant application materials. Editorial commentary from Pick's House of Anansi Press editor Lynn Henry is included with some "Far to go" edited manuscripts.

Consisting of batches of letters from Lewis' widow, Anne Wyndham Lewis (Froanna), news clippings on various aspects of Lewis' public activities (book reviews, criticism, artwork, obituaries), and promotional material relating to his publications (publishers' advertisements, inserts, and other ephemera).

Fonds consists of newspapers, photographs, financials, and personal documents relating to the professional and private lives of Carl Mantz, including his wife Elizabeth Gibson. Included in the fonds are records pertaining to the purchase and maintenance of the Whitby Weekly News building, correspondence and letters regarding his enlistment in the RCAF, programs and background information for the Ten Centuries concerts, and the meeting minutes for his initiatives concerning Whitby senior citizens. Of particular interest are the newspaper photographs which represent various events, people, and places of Whitby in the 1950s and 1960s. The fonds is composed of the following series: Elizabeth G. The fonds is organized in the following series. Those series most pertinent to Gerry’s work and interest in canoes and history are Series A to F. However, the photographic collections found elsewhere contain many shots related to canoeing history. The papers are also distinguished by materials related to the lives of his parents and grandparents and his uncle, Mel Sucee.

File consists of papers relating to the creation of the bronze bust of William Furby, 1984. The bust was at the Port Hope Public Library until 2007 when it was moved to Furby House Books on Walton Street.

Item is a painting by Canadian actor and artist Robert Imbert Orchard (1909-1991). Oil, unframed painting. Written on verso: "Painted by Robert Imbert Orchard when a student in J. W. Beatty's class at Corbett's Mill, Port Hope. The "Julia B. Merrill" ship painted in Port Hope harbour 1928. She was afterwards burnt at Sunnyside August 1931 to amuse the public. One of the last lake schooners had been a rum runner, then was carrying coal." Orchard would have been 19 years of age when he painted this. He had returned to Port Hope for a visit in the summer of 1928, which coincided with the fire of 1928 at Trinity College School.
