Contents include Conditions of Tenure and other information for Rhodes Scholars as well as various papers by H. D. Beach including "The Nature of Intelligence" and "Thinking and Language." Included is also a hand-written speech that Beach used to defend a Canadian Soldier in Oxford in 1949 who was being tried for breaking and entering.

Memoirs during the Second World War

The Beach Fonds contain the papers, letters, photos, memoirs, and diaries of Professor Horace D. Beach from during and after the Second World War, including various papers on education, politics, relationships and sexuality.

Letters to some of the youth who submitted articles to "The Western Producer", a weekly prairie newspaper that Horace contributed to as a youth himself.

File includes a transcription of cassette taps of Horace Beach's time in the Three Rivers Regiment (12th Armoured Regiment) by Dr. Reginald Roy which is in the University of Victoria archives. File also includes email correspondence between Joy Beach and Merv Hrabi, Joy Beach and John Frederick, Ross Hinther and Merv Hrabi, a speech by Dr. James Plant.
