Item is a gold-plated tie clip featuring the emblem of General Foods (Kraft) and three small rubies. It was given to John Austin to commemorate 25 years of service working at the Kraft plant in Port Hope, and later, Cobourg.

Whiskey Ledger belonging to Nathaniel Haskill who owned property and lived at Lot 16, Broken Front and Lot 165, Concession 1, Hope Township (now the Municipality of Port Hope). The earliest date of entry is 1801 with most dates primarily from 1807- 1813. - the inside pages are hand written with the purchaser's name, a description and amount of whiskey purchased and the means of payment. Often based on a barter system with payment made in the form of bushels of wheat, cows, barrels of flour etc. Some customers paid in cash. - comprised of 145 pages which are written upon with the remaining pages blank. The first 33 pages include more than one customer, where later pages, 34 - 145 are devoted to a single customer. Each customer has two pages together, side by side. In handwriting at the top is the name of the customer. First name on the left page and surname on the right side page. Left page also lists the date, amount of whiskey obtained and the cost in pounds and shillings. The left page indicates the means of payment.

Series consists of five legal and land records related to the Goheen family, 1808-1896. It includes: Petition for the freedom of Authur Prentice, 10 Sep 1896 (mentions Henry Goheen); Indenture of Bargain and Sale from Charles Goheen to Daniel Bullock, 24 Nov 1853; Discharge of Mortgage from Charles Goheen to George Stephens, 1 Apr 1850; Deed of Land for Lot 3 Concession 5 between Luke Bedford, Zilpah Tennison Goheen and Israel Goheen, 1843 (framed); Crown Land Grant for Lot 35 Concession 2, Township of Hamilton, District of Newcastle to Thomas Goheen, 20 Apr 1808 (framed).

This ledger belonged to Josiah Haskill (written on the inside cover) and contains the year and name of the client across the top of the left hand page in cursive writing and on the right side page at the top is written the year/ "Contra"/ Pound, Shilling and Pence". - amounts of whiskey the client received are listed on the left side and payments with bushels of wheat, oats, apples, bundles of straw, hay, beans, hogs etc. and cash are listed on the right side. - only the top corner of the left hand pages are numbered, the book has a total of 80 numbered double pages or 160 single pages. Some pages have been removed. -

Item is a booklet created for the Golden Jubilee of the Port Hope Methodist Church in 1925.

Includes a short history of methodism in Canada, the history of methodism in Port Hope starting in 1813, officials and groups of the church in 1875 and 1925, and messages from ex-pastors for the anniversary.

Item is a land registry book containing all the land patents issued by the Crown to land owners in East Durham townships Cartwright, Cavan, Clarke, Darlington, Hope, Manvers, and Town of Newcastle.

Fonds consists of papers and photographs from the Long Family Collection. It includes materials created and accumulated by: Alfred H. Long (military publications, letter books), N. Tom Long (local history research files, St. Lawrence Hotel plan, directories, photographs), Geo. Wilson (memoirs, correspondence re: Port Hope Evening Guide, Wilson family photographs), and Brig. Series consists of a collection of family letters, mostly written to Mrs. George Wilson (nee Sarah Howell), 1817-1927. Other names mentioned, either as sender or receiver, include: Port Hope Evening Guide, Government of Canada, Susan Websters, Hannah Straw (Sarah's sister), George Wilson (Sarah's husband), Sarah Burnham, Mary Howell (Sarah's sister), Elizabeth Howell (Sarah's mother), and Henry Howell. There are also a few financial records (i.e. receipts) in the collection.

Fonds consists of various papers created and collected by the family and descendants of Nathan Choate, 1817-1975. It documents the history of members of the family, as well as local buildings, churches, businesses, and the history of the Municipality of Port Hope.

File consists of land records for Lot 28, Con 1 in Hope Township, 1817-1904. It includes: "Indenture of Bargain and Sale, Jonathan Walton and Elias Smith to James Hawkins," 1817; Deed, conveys and transfers to Francis Little from the University and College of Toronto, 1856; Deed between Mrs. Anne Wade, et al to Harriett Day, 1904; Mortgage, Harriett Day and Thomas B. Chalk, et al Trustees, 1904.

Item is an Indenture of Bargain and Sale between Jonathan Walton and Zacheus Burnham and Jacob Choate, for Lots 4 and 5 in the Second Concession, Hope Township. Signed by all parties.

File consists of a Land Deed for Lot 21 Con 4, Cavan Township. The deed was registered in Port Hope and witnessed by William Henderson of Port Hope, who also provide a witness statement. The repaired deed was mended with newsprint showing Sheriff sales in an 1824 newspaper.
