Fairfax-Blakeborough was an author and journalist who sometimes wrote under the pen name Hambletonian. He was born in Guisborough, Yorks. on 16 Jan. 1883 and, like Pease, was a member of the Cleveland Bay Horse Society. His books concern racing, hunting, and country life.
