Fonds consists of several volumes of the manual RCOC Instructions and suggested amendments to the work.
Part I of the manual is titled Administration and Duties of Officers and deals with topics such as missions performed by Ordnance Ammunition Depots and the range of stockage and territory served; the operation and maintenance of various equipment; security issues; and the duties and responsibilities of various types of personnel.
Part III is titled Stock Control and is concerned with the issues such as the issuing, conditioning and disposal of stores; inspection and discrepancies; and stock records.
Part V is titled Work Measurement and Methods and deals with subjects such as time sheets; labour and production data; methods of improvement; and progress charts.
Part VII is titled Unit Accounting and deals with topics such as unit ledgers; receipt of stores, issue of stores, internal issues and receipts; and the repair and laundering of stores.
Part VIII is titled Manual of Ammunition and describes the various ammunition depot areas; the storing and handling of ammunition; ventilation and transportation; and fire prevention and first aid.
Part X is titled Unit Ammunition Instructions and deals with issues such as maintenance and salvage; safety precautions; and identifying the various types of ammunition.

Fonds consists of syllabi for Canadian War Staff and Junior War Staff courses and various other courses at Royal Military College during the Second World War. There is also one syllabi for 1936/1937. They cover a variety of military subjects including tactics, use of air, artillery, armour and infantry, training, intelligence, reconnaissance, etc.

Fonds consists of Weekly War Reviews that were published during the Second World War. The Reviews provide weekly updates on the movements of troops and ships, territorial gains and losses, and casualties of both Allied and enemy forces in the many different military theatres. These theatres include Russia, Libya, the Philippines, Malaya, China, Burma, and the Metropolitan. Details of important battles/operations such as Stalingrad and the Battle of Midway are recorded, and information regarding the success of bombing raids gleaned from photographic reconnaissance is also provided. The Reviews also contain any miscellaneous intelligence, such as new breakthroughs in technology. Arranged in chronological and numerical order.

Series consists of material documenting Lavallée’s service as a Nursing Sister with the Canadian Army Medical Corps in England and France during the First World War. Includes photocopies of her military personnel file, correspondence with her mother, published articles about her, photographs and various other documents.

Series consists of various administrative documents pertaining to the CIOR and CIOMR 1990 summer congress in Calgary, Alberta. Includes comments, corrections, notes and other documents. There is also a narrative Biography Cmdr James Plomer OBE, DSO RCN by RH Caldwell. The subseries is arranged in chronological order.

Series consists of documentation books documenting the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR) during 1993-1994. Includes the “Dual Status Documentation Books” consisting of 16 books and 32 tabs, and the “United Nations Documentation Books” consisting of 17 books and 40 tabs. Both groups of books have an index and a chronological listing of documents, and each file includes photocopied pages from the Indexes. The documentation includes faxes, agreements, briefing notes, instructions, memos, messages, reports, press releases, rules of engagements, statements and a variety of other documents. The UN documentation books also includes transcripts of radio broadcasts. In addition, there are also General Dallaire’s Documentation Books consisting of a diary and a notebook and detailing his activities during July 1993 to May 1994.

Subseries consists of eleven files related to Brodeur’s time as student at Canadian Forces Staff College taking Course 3. Includes a student handbook, general notices and orders, nominal lists, personnel notices, a calendar and various other documents. The files are arranged alphabetically by file title and include Bracknell Visit.

Subseries consists of files for course description, handbook, biographical sketches of guest lecturers, lecture notes, presentation materials, field study notes and materials, study group reports, notes and handouts from visits to Canadian and United States regions, and other related topics. The files are generally arranged by progression of the course chronologically.

Subseries consists of subject files related to Brodeur’s activities at SACLANT. Includes Standing Naval Force Atlantic change of command, staff lists, briefing cards, notebook and an information package for NATO Airborne Warning and Control System. Also includes files regarding the Naval Service of Canada 75th anniversary, Canadian Forcers organization order for the Canadian Contingent of the UN Force in Cyprus and other files.

These files related to special operations, special events including change of command, personnel assessments, naval career planning, defence policy, Paramax: Canadian Patrol Frigate Project Installation of First Combat System Shipset, briefing book on mobile command exercises, Notes to CMDO Regarding Extracts on Canadian Navy From Jane's Fighting Ships, defence policy review, and other miscellaneous material.

Series consist of Officer Profession Development Program military publications reprinted for use by the Canadian Forces. They analyze several major battles during the Second World War that occurred in both the European and the Pacific theaters. Some of the topics discussed are: the Battle of Britain, the Battle of Midway, the Battle of Kursk, the Battle of Imphal and Kohima Ridge, Operation Jubilee and Operation Neptune. There are also publications dealing with the German invasion of Norway in 1940, the convoy system over the Atlantic versus the German submarine in 1943, and the Israel-Egyptian October War during 1973.

Arranged in chronological order.

Subseries consists of documents related to the North West Air Command. Some of the major subjects covered include: air bases; Operations Investigator; Operation Dodds; Operation Beetle; Exercise Musk OX; Exercise Polar Bear; operations other war; military life; honors and awards; meetings; maritime warfare; artic operations; visits and inspections; conferences; and disposal of surplus properties and buildings.
