This fonds consists of 31 student projects depicting historical and contemporary features of Southwestern Ontario (primarily Windsor/Essex County but also Sarnia/Lambton County), created by Bachelor of Education (BEd) students in History of Social Studies courses in the 1980s. They take a variety of forms, including illustrated storybooks, scrapbooks, captioned photo albums, reports, lesson plans, activities, or fact sheets. The projects themselves are of variable quality, but the photographs and ephemera included in many projects provide valuable insight into local landmarks or industries in the 1980s. The collection has been arranged into six thematic series: Series I (Overviews by Geographic Area), Series II (Cultural Attractions), Series III (Sociocultural Groups and Histories), Series IV (Local Government), Series V (Business and Industry), Series VI (Transportation).

This fonds consists of 62 files produced during Bert Weeks' three terms as mayor of Windsor, 1975-1982. Organized alphabetically, the records consist primarily of subject files covering a diverse array of current events and issues of interest to Weeks, including: crisis services, the automotive sector, unemployment, smoking by-laws, recycling, youth, 3-year terms for Ontario municipal councils, Canadian unity, a 1980 election, the Edmonton commitment, decision-making in local government (the Hickey Report), the Pelee Island lighthouse, the Great Lakes seaway, a hotel opportunity, heritage highways, sporting events (Canada Games, Highland Games, international marathon), a 1979 Olympiad, the 1980 Republican National Convention in Detroit, Vietnamese refugees, Lebanese and Cambodian relief, UNICEF, 1978's project Operation Dismantle, and the Church of Scientology. There are also files of personal correspondence, telegrams, speeches, memos, press releases, transcripts of CKWW radio broadcasts, and news clippings. One file contains six photographs.

This fonds contains materials created or collected by CARAL Windsor and affiliated organizations between 1968 and 1994. It has been divided into sex series reflecting the group's pro-choice activism during a tumultuous period of uncertainty around abortion legality and access in Canada. Series I to V contain records of day-to-day operations, advocacy, and resource sharing by CARAL itself, as follows: Series I - Administrative Materials; Series II - Correspondence; Series III - Publicity and Awareness; Series IV - National Office Materials; Series V - Resources. Series VI - Windsor Women's Incentive Centre (WIC) contains a small number of records related to the WIC's broader support for women's issues in Windsor-Essex in the same time period.

The drawings were made during family counselling sessions held by Françoise Roy in late 1970s, early 1980s. She also taught special education at CEGEP La Pocatière in Quebec. She gifted them to Léo Beaulieu in 2003. Léo was one of her college students around the time these drawings were made.

This is a collection of reference materials collected by the Sisters illustrating the history and foundation of the congregations in Canada, the USA, and France. The collection illustrates Mother St. John Fontbonne’s life and work. There is a special focus on the history of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the London diocese. The collection is comprised of publications, calendars, correspondence, news clippings, photographs, postcards, an international directory, family tree diagrams, and a watercolor painting.

Album of photographs compiled by a member of the Hobbs family. Teddie Hobbs appears in one of the photographs and there is also a photograph of the grave of J. E. Hobbs. The majority of photographs are of the First World War Royal Flying Corps training camps in North America: Camps Borden and Mohawk in Ontario and Camp Taliaferro in Texas.

A mix of catalogues showcasing locks and associated building hardware for all the companies involved, but focusing on Corbin. Box of files includes inter company correspondence, newspaper clippings, log books, photographs and shares. A number of other books include a job book for cylinder keys, manufacturing order books and department specific log books. Two awards are also included, 1 for the efforts of a flood control team in 1981 and 1 safety award received in 1960. The fonds also includes a plastic Corbin sign and a key made at the plant.

This sous-fonds contains records pertaining to Sister Margaret Ferris’s education, professional career, artistic endeavors, personal life, and travels. Sister Margaret Ferris was an avid academic and eventually became an instructor. There are various records from her academic pursuits present here, including her many degrees and certificates, research notes, papers, theses, report cards, transcripts, photographs, a scrapbook, and regalia from her Doctorate commencement ceremony. Based on her areas of interest in her studies, she wrote and published a book in 1993 called Compassioning: Basic Counselling Skills for Christian Care-Givers which was translated into Chinese in 2010. Drafts, correspondence with publishers, English and Chinese editions of the book, and material from the book launching party are included. There are also records from when she was teaching. These records are primarily concerned with her career as an instructor at St. Peter’s Seminary and the adaptations of Compassioning: Basic Counselling Skills for Christian Care-Givers as course books for classes at the University of Western Ontario, but there is also a speech by Sister Margaret and her Stewards in Catholic Education Award.

Sister Margaret was an artist, and she created the design for the cards and pamphlets of the congregation’s 2004 Jubilee celebration, which was her Golden Jubilee. Original artworks, preliminary sketches, and replicas are included in this sous-fonds. She was also an avid traveler and photographs, travel diaries, a scrapbook, and ephemera from these trips are present. She made trips to Yellowknife, Quebec, Peru, Florida, California, Rome, and a pilgrimage to France. On the trip to Rome, she acted as a correspondent for the Catholic News Times. There are also personal memorabilia, such as photographs, scrapbooks, a papal blessing, a yearbook from St. Patrick’s High School where she was principal, and an invitation to the 1976 Opening of the Ontario Legislature reception.

Fonds consists of musical recordings on one 1/4" audio reel, performed by Deva Prasad Das on vocals and mardal with Shankaran on flute. These performances were intended to accompany the Deba Prasad Das style of Odissi dance. Consists of three separate performances: "Nindata Chandana" Abhinaya, Ashtapadi (an expression-based dance); "Natangi" and a Boomija folk dance from Orissa. These recordings were made to accompany performances by Sukanya Rahman.
Also includes four VHS recordings of performances by Rahman in various venues in the 1990s.
