Collection consists of audio recordings of interviews with individuals who were active in the Toronto visual art community during Robert Markle’s lifetime, art historians, and friends and family of Robert Markle. Collection also includes two notebooks containing transcriptions and notes. Interviews were created and used in the process of researching Blazing Figures: A Life of Robert Markle. Collection consists of posters designed by Will Munro for events organized by him at various venues in downtown Toronto. Posters employ a variety of media and processes, including silkscreen and photocopies. Some of these posters were featured in Will Munro: Total Eclipse, July 31 – September 26, 2010, part of the Toronto Now series of exhibitions at the AGO. Silk-screening of many of the posters was carried out by Michael Comeau.

Fonds consist primarily of 35mm black and white and colour negatives. Printed photography mainly consists of contact images of related negatives.

A large portion of the photography consists of freelance modeling photography and headshots.

Represented personalities include many Toronto-based drag performers, Salah Bachir, Kyle Rae, Ru Paul, Sky Gilbert, Keith Cole, Scott Thompson, Madonna, Enza the Supermodel, Chris Edwards, R.M. Vaughn, and Dini Petty. Many photographs of Woody’s (bar) staff are also included.

Fonds also include photography taken at many events, such as Toronto Pride, plays at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, events at Toronto bars and clubs, drag shows, Mr. Leather competitions, Casey House events, leather parties, coronation of Empress and Emperor of Toronto, Harbourfront Film Festival, Win a Date with a Bartender, Hooker of the Year, Priape Fashion Show, Judy Garland Memorial Bowling League party, Cabbagetown Group Softball League events, Much Music, Unity Party, Halloween at the Masonic Temple, "Cedars" campground opening, among others.

Fonds also include photography for advertisements for Toronto clubs and bars, such as Woody’s, Chaps, Boots, Ciao, Rock ‘n’ roll fag bar, Power (bar), Toolbox (bar), The Barn (bar), Bar 501, Bar 457, among others.

Fonds also include photography conducted for magazines and newspapers, including I.C.E. Magazine, FAB Magazine, XTRA!, Icon Magazine, Points, and Advocate.

Fonds also include photography taken at or for the promotion of fundraisers, such as People With AIDS, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre fundraiser, and MAC Viva Glam Fashion Cares.

Fonds also include some student photography conducted by Hawe during his studies at the Ontario College of Art (OCA).

Fonds also include some personal photography and correspondence with David Hawe’s friends and family.

The fonds documents the activities of Claire Coates as a member, director and vice-president of the Canadian National Exhibition Association, and her participation on various CNEA committees.

The fonds is divided into two series. MG 1-0-1, Committee files, consists of agendas, minutes, correspondence, and support material of the Archives and Foundation Committee, Arts, Crafts and Hobbies Committee, Feature Country Committee, Program Development and Review Committee, Horticulture Advisory Committee, Long-Range Planning and Development Committee, and Women's Committee, committees on which Claire Coates served.

Series MG 1-0-2, Artifacts, consists of 17 CNE badges, presented to Claire Coates in her capacity as a member of the Canadian National Exhibition Association, Women's Committee, and as an associate director, director and vice-president, and 14 lapel pins issued by the CNE.

Fonds consists of records created and or collected by the Ontario Council of Sikhs and includes of reports, legal exhibits, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other material. The majority of the files relate to a 1990 Ontario Human Rights Commission case wherein Harbhajan Singh Pandori claimed infringement of his religious rights as a Sikh under the Ontario Human Rights Code. A supply teacher with the Peel Board of Education, Pandori claimed that the Peel Board of Education’s disciplinary policy prohibiting the wearing of weapons, including the kirpan (a dagger-like article of religious faith worn by baptized Sikhs), was discriminatory. The dispute went before the Ontario Human Rights Commission tribunal, with a final ruling that the kirpan could be worn to school subject to restrictions. The Ontario Council of Sikhs served as a coordinator during this time, gathering research, arranging & giving presentations, and corresponding with various organizations and government officials.
