This letter is reproduced on page 89 of "Time Was." Details for the reproduction are written on the back of the letter. Also, "Ceremony of the Trooping of the Colour by the Governor-General's Foot Guards" 1 Jul 1954.

Family births and deaths are recorded on the last page of the Bible. Entries between 1847 and 1889. Notes written in pencil on the last page show the last entry is regarding the death of William Parsons Powe who died 15 Sep 1916.

Two notes taped in front; Embossed stamp "Moulton & Long Wholesale & Retail Music Dealers Port Hope, Ont." Hymnal may have belonged to Elijah Barrowclough (1853-1938) of Wesleyville. Buried at Wesleyville United Cemetery.
