Fonds consists of organizational records and planning documents for the Lesbian Outdoors Group from 1995-2007. Meeting minutes detail disagreements over funds allocations, discussions of group management techniques, reflections on equity within the group and how social dynamics contribute to equity and inequity. A majority of the materials consist of handwritten or printed notes recording and planning LOG activities and meetings. The fonds also contain LOG promotional materials and photos.

MG 1-0-1, Committee files, consists of agendas, minutes, correspondence, and support material of the Archives and Foundation Committee, Arts, Crafts and Hobbies Committee, Feature Country Committee, Program Development and Review Committee, Horticulture Advisory Committee, Long-Range Planning and Development Committee, and Women's Committee, committees on which Claire Coates served.
Series MG 1-0-2, Artifacts, consists of 17 CNE badges, presented to Claire Coates in her capacity as a member of the Canadian National Exhibition Association, Women's Committee, and as an associate director, director and vice-president, and 14 lapel pins issued by the CNE.
Coates, Claire (Claire Annabelle)Fonds consists of two scrapbooks detailing the activities of the Mississauga chapter of IODE, formerly known as the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire. The scapbooks detail the activities of the local chapter, municipal chapter, and the IODE provincially and nationally. The local chapter was involved with organizations including the Senior Citizen's House of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital, Titchfield High School in Jamaica, Sheridan College, Square One Shopping Centre, Sheridan Mall, Credit Valley Hospital, and others.
Many pages focus on the Mississauga Citizenship Court of the Canadian Ministry of Multiculturalism and Citizenship. During the 1980s and 1990s, they were active in providing catering for the ceremonies. Judges presiding over the court in that era include Kamal Akbarali and Joanne Robertson.
