Fonds contains research files compiled by local historian Paul Baldwin relating to architecture and architects in St. Thomas and Elgin County, principally related to the work of John T. Findlay and Neil R. Darrach with an emphasis on Darrach. Also includes information on David Kilpatrick, Elgin County's first architect, as well as research notes that informed Baldwin's "Legacy" column published in "Community News". Finally, fonds contains original architectural plans created in circa 1903 by Neil Darrach for the St. Thomas Public Library building, as well as a photocopy of a plan for the residence of R.A. Cook.
Baldwin, PaulCollection is comprised of research material accumulated or created by Murray VanZanten during the course of his research into early financial institutions in St. Thomas and Elgin County. The records were collected and compiled ca. 2008-2010, and organized according to either general information about all the financial institutions in St. Thomas and Elgin County, or divided into subject files about each individual bank. Fonds contains records created or maintained by Cecil Robertson and his son, Gary Robertson, with an emphasis on records collected by Cecil Robertson. Records mostly relate to the operation of their farm located on parts of Lots 25, 26 and 27, Concession 3 in the Township of Southwold, County of Elgin and parts of Lots 25 and 26, West Gore in the Township of Westminster, County of Middlesex. The Collection primarily contains historical notes made by Glenn Alward from scrapbooks his father created comprised of newspaper clippings documenting the community history of Port Burwell. Alward's father was Harry O. Alward, former Reeve of Port Burwell. The Collection also contains an assortment of newspaper clippings regarding events in Port Burwell, and Harry Alward's contribution to the community.

Bobier VillaThe fonds consists of selected administrative and operational records of the Canadian Order of Foresters, Court No. 1181, Vienna, Ontario, and includes minutes of meetings, auditors’ reports and other financial records, membership records and correspondence. Fonds also includes the amended constitution (1916) of the Canadian Order of Foresters and records relating to the rituals prescribed by the Order for observance by its affiliate courts. Fonds consists principally of black and white portrait photographs of First World War soldiers, collected and maintained by Rodney Branch 525, Royal Canadian Legion. Most but not all portrait subjects had a personal or familial connection to the Village of Rodney, the Township of Aldborough and/or the West Elgin region. Fonds also includes two black and white photographs showing members of the 91st Overseas Battalion, C.E.F., assembling and marching in Rodney, Ontario, February 25, 1916. Fonds also includes a typescript note, 1989, on Branch letterhead, concerning the photographs previously framed and displayed at the Clachan Hall.
