Fonds contains accounts and inventory book of Elizabeth Gale, milliner in London, On. The volume is divided in to two sections. The first is the accounts of Elizabeth Gale’s business from 1880-1882. The second is an inventory of stock seized by the county sheriff on November 14, 1882.
Gale, ElizabethFonds primarily consists of material accumulated during Mary Grey’s career at the National Museum of Science and Technology (renamed in 1999 the Canada Science and Technology Museum). The fonds is arranged into three series: GRE-1) Astronomy Lantern Slides; GRE-2) Curatorial career files; and 3) Second World War memorabilia. GRE-1) consists of 524 lantern slides illustrating 23 different subjects. The slides were collected by Mary Grey over her career. Series GRE-2) Curatorial Career consists of slide shows, photographs and research material. The series primarily consists of her work on Haley’s comet. GRE-3) Second World War memorabilia consists of correspondence and ephemera related to several women during the war.

Brooksdale Women's Institute, Oxford District, Southern AreaFonds consists of correspondence, notes, drafts, publications, clippings photographs, educational aids (star map and constellation abbreviations), and other material from the academic, professional, and post-retirement career of Miriam Burland. University records include a scrapbook from a tour she took as an undergraduate, a graduation photograph, and notes taken from the astrophysics course given by A. V. Douglas at McGill University from 1926-1927. Records from her career at the Dominion Observatory include photographs as well as correspondence and texts she wrote as an astronomer and later as a public relations education officer. The fonds also contains materials related to her work with the Ottawa Centre section of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and with the National Museum of Science and Technology. The records are arranged in rough chronological order.

Also included are records relating to the political activities of the council such as resolutions, briefs and submissions as well as project files and committee records. Included are municipal project files; records relating to the activities of the London and Middlesex NDP Ridings Association and the NDP of Ontario; campaign materials; correspondence; speeches; and newspaper clippings. Also included in the fonds are photographs documenting Bigelow's career; awards and other recognitions that she received; biographical records documenting her elections, public service and the contributions that she made to London; and a fictional novel about a female mayor in the city of London.
Bigelow, JaneFonds consists of records created and acquired by Western's Caucus on Women's Issues. Included are newsletters, minutes, financial records, various versions of their constitution, correspondence, documentary field tapes and reference materials as well as records relating to the Caucus' efforts to establish women's studies as a discipline, promote employment equity and contribute a women's perspective to the policy and planning processes at the university.
Also included in the fonds are the research materials of Constance Backhouse, law professor and member of the Caucus, who researched the history of women at Western as part of several projects including her report, “Women faculty at UWO: reflections on the employment equity award”, the establishment of UWO law archives and 100 years of women at Western.
