Fonds consists of records and research files on schools in East Elgin compiled by Evelyn McNeil for a 2006 publication entitled "Evolution of Schools: From Quill to Computer". This fonds is comprised primarily of secondary sources, but also includes some original records relating to the teaching career of Mrs. McNeil.

Fonds consists primarily of Black's records pertaining to her publications about Virginia Woolf, including "Three guineas" as edited by Black, and "Virginia Woolf as feminist" (including research notes, correspondence, drafts, proofs, and jacket art), and correspondence with Quentin Bell (Woolf's nephew and biographer). Also included are miscellaneous course material, book reviews written by Black, York University's Office of the Status of Women material including a run of "The Second Decade", publication lists created by Black, documents regarding the establishment of the Women's Studies programmes at York, and the enhancement of the Nellie Langford Rowell Library at York.

This series contains records concerning the involvement of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the London diocese in the field of education in St. Thomas, Ontario. While the records mention interactions with the Elgin County Roman Catholic Separate School Board and other schools in St. Thomas, the records in this series are all from or about St. Joseph’s High School. Material includes a feasibility study, yearbooks, news clippings, correspondence, photographs, pamphlets, and drama festival programs. The correspondence primarily concerns administration, funding, alumni events, and the Sisters who worked at the school. The major topics of the material are the Sisters’ employment, administrative concerns, the school’s drama department, and coordination of alumni events. There is also an annotated script for the play TUB by James W. Nichol, which the school performed in 1971.

The records are primarily concerned with St. Michael’s School, St. Patricia’s High School, and St. Patrick’s High School. Material in this series includes correspondence, photographs, news clippings, event programs, histories, yearbooks, alumni newsletters, and St. Patrick’s High School’s newsletters. The school newsletter, also referenced as the school paper, was called The Annunciata and later renamed The Shamrock. The St. Patrick’s High School’s yearbooks were also called The Shamrock. The correspondence is concerned with the Sisters’ employment, the Sarnia Roman Catholic Separate School Board’s involvement with the schools, the opening of St. Patricia’s Senior School, and the amalgamation of St. Patrick’s Senior High School and St. Patricia’s Junior High School. There are also meeting minutes of the Sarnia Roman Catholic Separate School Board and lists of teaching Sisters and the schools they taught at.

The fonds consists of records concerning the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Chatham. It contains material related to the hospital, the school, the student nurses, and the Alumnae Association. The fonds contains correspondence, pamphlets, booklets, newsletters, promotional material, scrapbooks, photo albums, yearbooks, a diploma, a nursing kit, a crest, two large, matted photographs of graduation classes, and news clippings related to the school, the hospital, the students, and the alumnae. It also includes a variety of photographs of student nurses, student life, the school, the hospital, hospital staff, and alumnae events, and memorabilia from alumni and graduation events.

The Alumnae Association was dedicated to connecting the students and preserving the history of the school. The Alumnae Association’s newsletters, event preparations, treasurer’s book, annual report, constitutions, and bylaws are present.

Notable material directly concerning St. Joseph’s Hospital includes a 1957 constitution and moral code of the medical staff and a list of administrators. There is also a list of the directors of the School of Nursing.

The educational institutes are Catholic elementary schools and high schools, choir schools, the London Roman Catholic Separate School Board, post-secondary schools, and the Divine Word (the International Centre of Religious Education operated by the London diocese). One of the post-secondary institutions, London Teachers College, was originally named London Normal School. The material in this series consists of correspondence, pamphlets, photographs, news clippings, newsletters, board minutes, histories, yearbooks, and manuals. The correspondence is primarily concerned with administrative matters, the employment of Sisters, and arranging events. Notable topics within these records include teaching practices, anniversary events, Canada’s centennial, and G. The fonds consists of material which documents Williamson's career as a fine arts bibliographer, librarian and instructor along with associated professional and scholarly activities. It includes correspondence and reports prepared for collection acquisitions (e.g. Germain Bazin library, archives and postcard collection), other library initiatives, interactions with various library departments, and departments in the Faculty of Fine Arts including visual arts, dance, and theatre; material related to her work on YUFA, PLAYU (Professional Librarians Association of York University), the Librarians' Group, and other York University and library committees; exhibition catalogues, monographs, articles and conference presentations authored by Williamson; and research materials, grant files and teaching files. The fonds also includes a collection of letters and photographs that Williamson sent home during her stay at various summer camps between 1940 and 1951, material related to the Moore Park Ratepayers' Association, and a collection that Williamson acquired consisting of 63 photocopied letters from literary and artistic figures in Canada such as Susanna Moodie and George Munro Grant, addressed to Louisa Murray (1818-1894), literary critic and writer on feminist issues.

The material in this series includes biographical research, a prayer written by Mother Celestine McCarthy, photographs, a postcard, two of Lena McClure’s autograph books, an exchange of correspondence between the Bishop of London and the Archbishop of Toronto about the extension of incorporation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto, and a financial document written in Latin, dated 1913, and a written history of Catholic Central High School tracing it back to its beginnings at Sacred Heart School.

En effet de nombreux dossiers documentent les rôles, réalisations et interventions de madame Beauchamp au sein des associations ou groupements du milieu de l’éducation, tout comme au sein de divers conseils et associations du milieu des soins de la santé. De plus, on y retrouve des dossiers attestant de son implication dans la communauté de Sudbury. En effet, des procès-verbaux, rapports et autres types de documents du conseil de la paroisse de Sainte-Anne des Pins, du comité pour la reconstruction de l’église ou de conseils administratifs de Caisses Populaires sont inclus dans le fonds d’archives.

Le fonds d’archives contient aussi des documents et photographies de la famille et des parents de Liliane Beauchamp ayant servis à la publication Léoda Gauthier, un homme du peuple. De plus, de nombreux certificats, plaques honorifiques et médailles témoignent du rayonnement des réalisations de celle-ci.
