The Robert Boudignon fonds consists of correspondence and research papers for the book on the history of French River. The documentation consists of notes, booklets, leaflets, copies of maps, photographs, drawings and articles. The different activities and topics of the early years and also recent years of the French River area, such as fur trade, timber, tourism, and ecology are well
documented.
The Barbara Dunphy fonds consists of audiotaped interviews of wives of miners from the Kirkland Lake area, and a few accompanying notes on the project. The interviews were done with the intention of producing a film, which did not get off the ground due to funding problems. Among the interviewees are: Myrtle MacLeod, Clara Golden, Kay Carlin, Anna Welyhorsky, Georgina Lebine, Mrs. Allison Mills, and Carol Magnusen.
UntitledThe Gordon Hurley fonds consists of correspondence, personal notes, minutes, contract proposals, photographs, and personal artefacts in the form of buttons and delegate convention ribbons. It also contains issues of the 1968 strike bulletin The Picket Bugler and clippings. Most of the records address issues of health, safety and inspection protocols of work sites. Minutes of the Operating, Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) Committee meetings (1977-80) are included, along with summaries of injuries sustained at Levack mine (1977). It also contains handwritten notes regarding meetings and grievances related to health and safety. Financial statements, constitutional reports, and convention summaries from the United Steelworkers of America (USWA), the Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Canadian Labour Congress document some of the official positions of these organizations for the period 1964-77.

UntitledThe fonds consists of a minute-book of the regular meetings of the Gowganda, Local 33, of the Socialist Party of Canada recorded between February 1911 and June 1927. There are no minutes recorded between February 1914 and June 1927. The first recorded meeting states: “Gowganda Local*33 of Socialist Party of Canada held an organization meeting in the Miners’ Union hall on February 19, 1909 when the following business was transacted”. The document, however, is dated Feb. 19, 1911.

On y retrouve des documents pour plusieurs des comités administratifs qui relèvent du Conseil administratif. Les procès-verbaux et documents afférents de ces comités nous informent sur plusieurs aspects du fonctionnement d'un conseil scolaire. Par exemple, la gestion financière et administrative d'un conseil ainsi que, l'entretien et les rénovations des propriétés scolaires sont bien documentés.
La participation des parents et des enseignants est illustrée par les documents des assemblées des citoyens et des parents et instituteurs.
L'amalgamation des conseils scolaires, suite à la Loi 104, a fait en sorte que le Conseil scolaire de la Rive Nord et le Conseil scolaire de Chapleau se sont joints au Conseil des écoles séparées catholiques romaines du district de Sudbury. On y retrouve donc des procès-verbaux de ces conseils scolaires dans ce fonds d'archives. L'administration des deux conseils est bien documentée par les procès-verbaux. Il en est de même pour la commission d'amélioration de l'éducation pour le Conseil scolaire de Chapleau.

More specifically, the Constitution and by-laws of the union attest to the objectives of its members, while the agreement with Inco provides insights on working conditions. The brief submitted by Inco to the National War Labour Board in 1943 also provides information on labour relations during the war.
UntitledCollection reflects the theatrical performances that took place on Redeemer University’s mainstage and theatre studio (also referred to as The Black Box). These performances were primarily produced by students and faculty in the Theatre Arts program that ran from 1985-2020 but also includes productions that were performed by guests. The collection is arranged into production photographs, audio/video recordings, promotional material, stage designs and costume designs, and article reviews.
UntitledThe drawings were made during family counselling sessions held by Françoise Roy in late 1970s, early 1980s. She also taught special education at CEGEP La Pocatière in Quebec. She gifted them to Léo Beaulieu in 2003. Léo was one of her college students around the time these drawings were made.
The drawings were made in 2020 and 2021. The family's first item contributions to CDIC was in July 2020, and an additional one in 2021.
