Sub-series contains Sister Norita Keenan’s one page memoir, postulant requirement list, souvenir booklet of the Diamond Jubilee, chaplain list, meal seating plan, and stationery.
This series contains photographs relating to Dr. Luney’s experience as a medical practitioner beginning with his time as a medical student at the University of Western Ontario from which he graduated in 1914. Photographs at this stage depict students at work and posing with cadavers. There is a portrait of Dr. Luney in a military uniform as well as a US war manual for laboratory methods. A significant portion of the series depicts scenes from medical school reunions, predominantly from the 50th anniversary of Dr. Luney’s graduation. These photographs contain images of other doctors from Dr. Luney’s graduating class and their spouses. The 50th anniversary reunion took place at the London Hunt and Country Club and some of the reunion photographs were taken in Dr. Luney’s home.

Sub-series consists of records related to Sacred Heart School of Music [1919-1947] and Mount Saint Joseph School of Music [1963-1984]. The records consist of brochures, newspaper articles, recital hall photos, materials related to the community music workshops (newspaper clippings, exercise book, music teacher’s workshop program, schedule, and demonstration lectures), music and recital programs, lists of music teachers, posters, correspondence, announcements, tuition information, forms, and policies and guidelines.
Sub-series consists of photographs related to a farewell ceremony in 1985 when the school board administrative offices moved from Sacred Heart Convent. There was an opening of the cornerstone at this event. There is also a farewell ceremony reception invitation, a farewell ceremony boardroom gathering agenda. Besides these records, there are land and property maintenance receipts, property sketch, and a chronology of property transfers and sales. Finally, there is also a program and speech from the 2008 rededication of the original convent cornerstone.

The material consists of chronologies; a Form of the Act signed at reception and a Form of the Act signed at final vows dated 1878; a detailed report of a canonical visit by the Bishop of London, Michael Frances Fallon in 1917; correspondence with Bishop Michael Frances Fallon, Dr. Bruce Smith, Mother M. Clare, and George M. Reid; copies of correspondence with Archbishop J. H. MacDonald concerning the governance and separation of the Edmonton community from its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of London; and a history of the Edmonton community from 1922 to 1953 entitled “Our Western Saga”. The canonical status, governance, and fiscal responsibility of the Edmonton community had been an ongoing issue since its establishment in 1922.
McCarthy, MechtildeThis series consists of medical certificates received by Dr. F. W. Luney. The records are arranged in chronological order. The series includes his certificates related to professional affiliations, certificates relating to his specialization in medicine, and his certificate showing his credentials as a medical doctor as well as two certificates highlighting his role at the Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario.
