UntitledItem is a handwritten letter discussing a large number of deaths and the procession in Toronto. Letter is dated July 5, 1866. The author of the letter is A. P. Rice, writing from B. A. Cottage, Toronto, C. W. and speaks also of his studies in Toronto. References in letter are made to "F. Little" and "Elijah" (believed to be Elijah Rice 1843-1920).
Series consists of a thirty-six (36) page photograph album, with fifteen (15) pages of black and white and sepia coloured photographs. Photographs include Walton Street, Drill Shed on Queen Street, Midland Railway station, 1878 flood, rural scenes, unidentified family portraits. It also includes images from Cleveland.
Item is the death notice of Edward Smith, aged 65 years on 31 Aug 1891. Former resident of Peter Street. Interment at Union Cemetery.

UntitledFonds consists of 10 notebooks which capture Jack Oughton’s personal and professional life during his time as a student at the Univeristy of Toronto and his days as an employee at the Royal Ontario Museum of Zoology. The diaries describe his daily life along with observations about nature (birds, insects, plants) around Southern Ontario. Oughton’s diaries document his work with J. R. Dymond at the Royal Ontario Museum of Zoology and his participation with the Brodie Club and other naturalist clubs. A number of diaries document trips made to the Arctic, Baffin Island, Lake Nipissing, the Bay of Quinte and Trent Valley.

UntitledFonds consists of diaries written by Edwin Walker Vivian. Edwin writes about the weather, his daily chores and his activities including the literary club and skating. The fonds also contains school examination certificates and family photographs.
Most of the records consist of letters written to Mark Young Stark and his wife, Agatha, in Dundas. Correspondents include friends and family in Scotland or friends and colleagues in Upper Canada. Of the Scottish letters, those from Stark’s stepmother (Mary Bannatyne) and aunt (Grace Young) are the most numerous. Some letters predate Stark’s immigration to Canada in 1833. Other letters were written to his wife and to their daughter, Mary Ann, after Stark’s death in 1866. Topics addressed in the letters revolve around personal and family news but occasionally touch on current events, including politics and ecclesiastical affairs.
