This photograph shows the house "Riverview" which was located at 5 Queen St., Guelph. At the time this photograph was taken, Riverview was still a cottage.
In this photograph is seen "Rosehurst," a home built by Dr. Clarke. Rosehurst was the second home of the Goldie family and was situated where the Homewood Sanatorium is now located. "Rosehurst" was torn down in 1927 or 1928.

This photograph looks west towards the former City Hall building on Carden Street. Also shown in this image, to the left of City Hall, is the Annex building which during this period was used as the City's fire hall. Wet fire hoses were hung to dry in the tower atop the Annex.
This photograph shows the Market Square at Carden and Wilson Streets, just west of City Hall. The Church on the hilltop is St. Bartholomew's, the predecessor of the Church of Our Lady.
This photograph looks north up Lower Wyndham Street towards St. George's Square. The Old Wellington Hotel can be seen in the Square as can the Great Western Hotel on the corner of Wyndham and Macdonell Streets. St. George's Church can also be seen at the top right of the image.
This photograph shows the new Alma Block, located on the east side of Upper Wyndham Street. The fenced area to the left of the buildings is the site where the New Wellington Hotel would be built.
This photograph shows the site where the New Wellington Hotel would be built, on the corner of Woolwich and Upper Wyndham Streets. The Old Wellington Hotel in St. George's Square was purchased by a group of local businessmen and razed soon before construction of the new hotel began at this site.
