"Dear Sir, Enclosed you will find three applications for insurance together with the sum of five 21/100 dollars to pay over to Treasurer being $4.16 on applications and $1.05 received from Mr. Robt. King for Carpenter's Risk for one month on $1,050.00 of Policy No. 1278. You did not send me any blanks for Carpenter's Risks and I had to give Mr. King a receipt in my own name in the following form: Rec'd from Mr. Robert King on Policy No. 1278 the sum of one 5/100 dollars for Carpenter's Risk on Barn No. 1 and contents therein, for one month from this date being 10 cents per $100 in accordance with resolution of the Directors of the Peel Farmer's Mutual Fire Insurance Co.
