This fonds consists of textual material and artefacts including correspondence, a draft of William Kirby Rolph’s doctoral thesis, and drafts of articles. The fonds also contains newspaper clippings, certificates, pins and medals, and photographs relating to W.K. Rolph’s life and Ruth Bell’s academic career.
Ruth M. BellFonds comprises handwritten and carbon copies of the manuscripts for two books: “A Study in the Idea of God” and “Civilization in the Making.” As well, there is a Sign-List for Pre-Hammurabi Contract Tablets. There are some 100 lantern slides that Mercer was famous for using in his lectures. Some of these slides by photographer A.J. Reading show titles for the images; however there is no listing of them.
Mercer, Samuel Alfred BrowneFonds consists of records created by Sheldon P. Zitner over the course of his career as a scholar, writer, and poet. Files include published and unpublished drafts of poetry, correspondence relating to his career as a poet, drafts of academic essays, and various other records relating to his career. Also included is a copy of an interview of Zitner with Michael Enright from 2000.

Snowdon FamilyThe fonds consists of records kept by Stephen Reynolds during the course of his adult life. These include correspondence with family, friends, and colleagues that illuminate his personal life, his Christian faith, and his various pastoral and intellectual pursuits. Carbon copies of many outgoing letters were created and kept. Reynolds kept an intermittent diary through the time period represented here. These were sometimes typed, and often handwritten in small notebooks. He apparently removed pages from these notebooks and inserted them in files with correspondence and other material from the same time period.
Other records include academic papers, research material, sermons, prayers, drafts of manuscripts, course materials, and some official documents such as academic transcripts.

Trinity College Dramatic SocietyThe records of the Trinity College Encounter Club include minutes, lists of members and activities, financial records, and records of the Conference of African Affairs and the Conference on the Canadian Indian. Issues of The Encounter are also contained in this fonds.
Trinity College Encounter ClubFonds documents all aspects of Trinity College's program of granting in absentia music degrees in Britain
from its inception in 1885 to its demise in 1891. Included in this material is correspondence with practicing
musicians, with those administering the program in Britain, and with various university and government
officials. There are administrative records such as calendars, degree requirements and formal
examination papers. Formal and legal documents, such as the “Memorial” and responses to it, as well as
communications with university chancellors show the increasing opposition to the program. Many
newspaper and journal clippings document these events.
Fonds consists mainly of administrative records of the Trinity College Literary Institute, including the Debates and Conversazione Committees. These records show the wide variety of activities in which the Trinity College Literary Institute has traditionally been involved and the large part played by “The Lit” in the life of the College. Annual social events included TCLI dinners with some well-known speakers, as well as the annual formal dance, the Conversazione which began in 1871. Elaborate programs, posters and graphic works were produced to promote and advertise these and other events.
Trinity College Literary InstituteFonds includes agendas, minutes, and supporting documents of Senate meetings. Files also include correspondence and notices of meetings as well as reports and documents pertaining to the sub committees of the Senate: the Library, Media, and Academic computing committee; Student Awards committee; Academic Appointment committee; Planning and Outreach committee; Community Affairs committee; and the Nomination committee.
Trinity College SenateThis collection consists of administrative records, calendars, student academic records, and records of student life at Trinity Medical College. Administrative records include Minutes of Corporation, records related to the amalgamation of medical faculties at Trinity College and the University of Toronto, correspondence files, a small number of general administrative and financial records, a Register of Students, and miscellaneous reports. Student records include textual and photographic records of academic standing and participation; records of student life include documents and photographs related to college groups, committees, societies, and teams. Also in the collection are a cap, belt, (and blazer purported to be from Trinity Medical College), as well as a manual press of the seal of Trinity Medical College.
Trinity Medical CollegeFonds consists of records kept by W.B. Crowe while a student at the Trinity Medical College (1892-1896) and for several years after graduation. Files include lecture notes and examination papers; printed ‘admission cards’ allowing entrance to lectures; receipts from the Registrar; certificates from the various levels of his training; programs from Medical College social functions including the annual dinners (1892-1895); speeches; commencement programs; notebooks; and papers relating to his time in Scotland. Also included is a prescription book with initial date of March 1894 that seems to have been used throughout his career as a physician. Photographs include a tintype of W.B Crowe treating a patient, a photograph of the dissecting class, and a class photograph. Also included is a clipping from the Toronto Globe and Mail showing the graduating class composite picture for 1895-6.
Walter B. CroweThe fonds consists of the signed agreement between Doctors Geikie and Rolph in 1857 in which they become partners. There is some correspondence and a number of journal articles written by Dr. Geikie on various topics. Many tributes to Dr. Geikie, printed and handwritten, are included.
Walter Bayne GeikieThe fonds consists of four notebooks of lectures delivered in Trenton and Kingston for the benefit of the Trinity Hall Fund, and a fragment of a manuscript lecture on climate.
William BleasdellThe collection consists of several diaries written during trips to the United States and England during the 1850s and 1860s in search of building funds for Trinity College. From his three trips to the United States in 1852 and 1853 there are five notebooks as well as a letter concerning a resolution towards the endowment of Trinity College. There are 98 Cartes de Visite as well as an extensive diary from his 1864 trip to England.
