Fonds consists of documents, technical drawings, photographs, clippings, reprinted articles on Massey Ferguson or Massey Harris, a badge, a pin, a business card, and some drafting tools. There are also some internal newsletters and publications from Massey-Harris in Australia. The archives show that Windsor seems to have been involved in the design of model 37 combine and that he worked in Canada, Australia, and France.

The fonds consists of one farm book, dated 1853 to 1878, and includes accounts, livestock information, and newspaper clippings concerning farming techniques. One section is organized by location (West Zorra, East Zorra, Embro and Innerkip), and list names and amounts of bales and trusses delivered.

This fonds consists of the diaries of James Rowand Burgess and Elizabeth Oliver Burgess between the years of 1911 and 1974. In the diaries, a brief entry is generally made for each day. Topics covered in the diaries include: rural life, weather, social activities (literary meetings, box socials), farm work, house work, chores, high school work and activities, and community involvement. A few references are made to people leaving to serve in the Bruce 160th Battalion and war-time matters such as the fuel controller. The entries make references to friends, families and neighbours.

This fonds consists of John Peirson’s diaries with enclosures, for the years: 1888, 1892-1919, 1921-1925, and 1927. His brief daily journal entries include information related to his family, political life, rural life, personal financial information, social engagements, church meetings, weather and farm operations and activities, including ploughing, sowing and the sale of animals. Mr. Peirson also makes mention of world events, including the sinking of the Titanic and the end of the Great War.

Journals after 1919 each continue to have the name “John Peirson” written on the title page, sometimes with the name of the person who gave the diary to him as a gift; however, most entries in those journals appear to have been written either by John’s daughter-in-law, Catherine (Black) Peirson, and/or his daughter, Mary Ann (Peirson) Hilborn, both of whom were living in houses on the homestead with John. These journals include references to “father” and his health. Other topics include social activities, Women’s Institute meetings, social visits, family life, and some financial information.

Enclosures in the diaries, such as invoices, statements and newspaper clippings, reflect some of the businesses in the community, such as W.A. Gerolamy, grocer; J.W. Chittick Burgoyne General Store; and The Tara Creamery. John Peirson’s involvement with the Burgoyne Cheese Company, and family events reported in the newspaper up to 1937 are also reflected in the enclosures.

The fonds consists of four diaries created by Joseph Peers, of East Oxford Township, between the years 1865 and 1878.

The records include three series: Series 1 is the minute books from 1913-1977; Series 2 is the Tweedsmuir History books and Series 3 is miscellaneous items relating to the Komoka Women's Institute.

The fonds contains resources used and created in the compilation of The London Township History Book. The two-volume book details the history of London, Ontario and its surrounding areas, detailing multiple elements such as geography, industry, and community. The fonds contains thirty two series; series 1-9 relate to the administration of the book project proper; series 10-25 relate to the chapters of VOlume 1 of the London Township History Book (one series per chapter).

The fonds consist of various materials related to John Morrison’s Ayrshire breed including:

Fonds consists of correspondence, tax receipts, pamphlets, and invitations found in a home purchased by Martha Hendriks in 2001. The home is located at 1202 Morton Line, Cavan, Ontario and was owned previously by a farmer named Daniel Nill (1915-[1985]). Included are letters written by Frances [ ], New York, to Daniel Nill between 1933 and 1940. Also included are letters, agreements, pamphlets, etc. associated with John Mason, William Mason, Orlie Mason, and G.A. Mason. These items are dated between 1886 and 1915.

Fonds consists of records of the North Norwich Agricultural Society, including a minute book containing lists of directors and executive members, and minutes of regular meetings, committee meetings, and annual meetings; and a catalogue of expenses for agricultural education supplies, such as books and magazines, garden tools, and classroom materials (such as microscopes, petri dishes, incubators, and other materials).
