Fonds consists of material relating to the research for, writing and publication of two volumes relating to the Petworth Emigration Scheme: Assisting Emigration to Upper Canada: the Petworth Project, 1832-1837 / by Wendy Cameron and Mary McDougall Maude; and, English immigrant voices: labourers letters from Upper Canada in the 1830's, both of which were published by McGill-Queen's University Press in 2000. The files retained by the Project fall into three broad categories: 1) the results of genealogical research in England and the family history files used in creating the list in Part 2 of Assisting emigration; 2) files relating to research in Canadian genealogical resources; 3) files dealing with the process and creation of the books. In particular, the records focus upon the activities and deliberations of the Long Range Planning Committee and its subcommittees as it established a facilities plan for major renovations between 1992 and 1999. Closely related to these activities are records documenting membership issues including surveys and Membership and Fees Sub Committee minutes and reports.
Includes as well, materials relating to the activities of the Ladies Curling Committee; records documenting the planning of the du Maurier Classic L.P.G.A tournament, 1990; club newsletters; and miscellaneous publications.

The Emperor of Japan presented her with a memorial cup in 1965, the 60th Anniversary of the YWCA in Japan., and in the same year she received an International Cooperation Year medal presented by Cardinal Leger in Montreal. Accrual consists of material relating to the life of Emma Kaufman. Includes correspondence, clippings, biographical pieces and photographs.

Contents: 7. p. ms. report dictated by Rear-Admiral Charles Holmes for his superiors, recounting in detail the events of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham. Major-General James Wolfe captured Quebec on Sept. 13, 1759, but died on the battlefield. His opponent, the Marquis de Montcalm died the next day. Holmes dictated a detailed account of the battle and sent two copies on separate ships to the British Admiralty. This document is the second copy of that report.
