Part of Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse series

Fatima Hall was established in 1957 in a section of the original Mount St. Joseph building (former Hellmuth College) for a project called the Aspirancy (1957-1967). The Aspirancy provided girls who were inclined to religious life an opportunity to study their vocation and complete their high school before entering as postulants. This subseries contains pamphlets for the Fatima Hall Aspirancy or Junior Seminary, programs for plays put on by the Aspirancy students such as Halo Round Star which were a series of performances organized in honour of Mother Margaret Coughlin, the General Superior, (includes photographs and a tribute), and a local history of the former Mount St. Joseph and Fatima Hall. There are also aspirant student lists, newspaper clippings related to Fatima Hall, and a scrapbook dedicated to the demolition of Fatima Hall in 1976. The original Mount St. Joseph building housed a Kindergarten and pre-kindergarten which ran from 1954 to 1975 in the basement of the chapel for children aged four to six years who lived outside London. This subseries contains a Kindergarten ledger for 1961-1975.
