The lists are arranged by the companies that built the Canadian Navy trawlers and wood drifters.

Fonds consists of Air Gunner Gilbert Boulanger’s flying logbook for 1942 to 1944, which includes several photographs and newspaper clippings from that period. The logbook also contains colour photographs of RCAF aircraft and of Boulanger at ceremonial events, including his flight inside a CF-18 fighter jet in 2010. A copy of the signatures and approbations for this flight, as well as the invitation to the 2009 Bagotville Commander’s Ball, is included within the logbook, along with several autographs from RCAF personnel. Also consists of two compact disks, one of which contains scanned pages of the flying logbook. The other holds Boulanger’s personnel file from the Second World War.

Collection consists of an account of Commander J.H. (Harris) MacLean’s naval career including his voyage through the Northwest Passage, and a copy of the eulogy delivered at Commander MacLean’s funeral. Both were written by Ian Greenwood from interviews he conducted with Commander MacLean beginning in November 2006. The collection also includes various black and white photographs of HMCS Labrador and her crew as they erected beacons during their voyage through the Northwest Passage. A black and white photograph of the crew of HMCS Margaree and four colour photos, three of HMCS Margaree, and one of ships moored at Pearl Harbour are also part of the collection. Also includes various group photos from a meeting of the Explorers Club of New York in 1956, a photo of 2nd Escort Squadron Hockey team taken in Tokyo Japan in February 1962, several photos of groups of men from HMCS Discovery and HMCS Kings. Includes black and white photographs of graduating classes from Fleet School, HMCS Naden, Esquimalt. Miscellaneous black and white photos of various ships, people, icebergs, sailors, and planes are also part of the collection.

The objective of this paper is to summarize the discussions held at focus groups in 2008 with Canadian Forces members across the country on how and if they receive information on pension plans. The report outlines the methodology used in the study. It also includes observations from the focus group sessions and solutions suggested by focus group participants related to communication about the Canadian Forces pension plans.

There are correspondence, memoranda and working drafts concerning North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military affairs. The 2007 accession consists of copies of the records of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for 1946-1958. These files are mixed in with other US Western Hemisphere Continental Defence files dealing with Canada-United States military relations, defence, air defence, emergency defence plans, military cooperation and security. Also includes the defence of Central and South America as regards to the Act of Chapultipec.

Earle G. Dolbel fonds

Fonds consists of textual and pictorial items collected by Earle G. Dolbel during his stay at Marlag und Milag Nord prison camp from 1941 to 1945. There is a scrapbook and a personal journal. The scrapbook contains drawings, news clipping, label stickers, poems, photographs from home, and contributions from his fellow prisoners; it pays particular attention to the recreational activities and musical theatre productions in the camp. The journal, which covers the time between his capture and his return to Canada, explains more of Mr. Dolbel's routine in the camp. He writes about weather, rations, going to service, and hearing air raids outside. The highlights for Mr. Dolbel came whenever he received mail from his family and packages from the Red Cross. Fonds also contains a copy of the journal made in 1979 by one of his children, and an Imperial Oil magazine from 1988.

Collection consists of photocopies of flight reports and other documentation, an information book for the Imperial Defence College Tour of the Middle East in 1949, and a report by a German general on Operation Cerberus. Documents related to Bryans' early career include the report of his pilot's graduation tests, flight reports, headquarters orders for flights, and some correspondence. Also included are four photographs, three portraits of Bryans and one group photograph from an RAF navigation school. The information book from the Imperial Defence College tour is titled "General Headquarters Middle East Land Forces Nut Shell, 30 July to 30 Aug, 1949." It includes a programme of the tour, as well as topographical, military and political information on Tripolitania, Cyrenaica, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, Iraq, Aden and Aden Protectorate, East Africa, Sudan and Eritrea, and Malta. Two maps, an outline map of the tour and a road map of Greece, are also included. The report by an unidentified German general is titled "The Channel Break Through 1942" and describes Operation Cerberus, the escape of three German battleships, Prinz Eugen, Gneisenau and Scharnhorst, from Brest to Norway in February 1942. The British counter-action, code-named Operation Fuller, is also described.

Fonds consists of files containing forms, messages and correspondence between chart depots at various locations in the world and the Hydrographic Services Office in Halifax, N.S. Includes files regarding dispersal of hydrographic supplies, dangers and aids to navigation, chart and map procurement, admiralty publications and the administration of the Hydrographic Services Office. Also, fonds contains various lists and logs, such as Chart Correction Logs and Folio Indexes, Consecutive Lists of Admiralty Charts and Candydrolants, and the HSO log for 1942-1945, as well as 26 compact disks of miscellaneous naval images from the Hydrographic Services Offices in Halifax. Also includes a "Private Pilots Certificate and Licence", an RCAF service and pay book, and an identity booklet for the RAF.
