sous-fonds does not include masters’ theses or doctoral dissertations created by University of Ontario Institute of Technology students. Refer to F-505, Graduate Studies for student theses.
The Durham College Chronicle Newspapers Sous-Fonds consists of the student newspaper, The Chronicle, in paper format and many issues are available in PDF format. The issues date from 1973 to the present day. The records relate to the campus activities and those of the local municipality. The Chronicle was and is a component in the Journalism program as part of a newspaper publishing course. Articles were all written by students. Advertisements were acquired by students in the Advertising program as part of their courses.
The sous-fonds consists of records relating to the celebrations for Durham College's 50th anniversary.
The collection consists of the corporate records of the college including those of the President, Board of Governors, and Academic Council and various departments. As well, the collection consists of academic records including graduations, athletics, alumni, documents and reports. The collection also includes external records from the Durham Region, and various universities that have worked co-operatively offering academic programming.
