Written by Dr, H, D, Beach in Dalhousie while on Sabatical in 1965. Beach was employed by the Department of National Health and Welfare and wrote this report for the Emergency Health Services as a result of his book, "Individual and Group Behaviour in a Coal Mine Disaster." This report was translated into French and distributed to comparable Health and Civil Defense Agencies of the countries of NATO.
