Fonds consists of manuscript and typescript copies of Adele Wiseman's work, clippings and reviews pertaining to her books, personal and business correspondence, financial records, photographs, subject files and manuscripts of work by others and other material pertaining to her career as a writer, teacher and social worker. The fonds consists of notes, drafts and research material related to the publications "The edge of the world," "Emma's dead," "Headstand," "If I knew I'd tell you," "Lovers and other strangers," "Mixed-up grandmas," "The adultery handbook," "Colville's People" and "Cathedral Women." It also includes personal and professional correspondence, clippings of stories about Malyon and/or reviews of her work, lecture notes, grant applications, writer-in-residence application as well as other material that documents her career as a writer.

Collection consists of passes, tickets and stickers for the Canadian National Exhibition and other events at Exhibition Place.
The Pass Collection is divided into two Series: CNE Passes and Event and Miscellaneous Passes. Series 1, the CNE Passes Series, is organized chronologically at the File level. Series 2, the Event and Miscellaneous Passes Series, is organized by subject at the File level.

Fonds consists of a scrapbook started by the Class President of the 1946 September Class, Margaret Smith, as well as a letter to the UHN Archives from class member Joyce Kinslow, outlining the origins of the scrapbook. The scrapbook was originally kept in a binder. Ms. Smith kept the scrapbook up to date for a span of 60 years by having a page or pages dedicated to each graduate. Graduates would send pictures and notes to Margaret throughout the years for inclusion on their page in the scrapbook. The scrapbook would be shared and updated at class reunions and subsequently came to be held by Joyce Kinslow. Affixed to the pages of the scrapbook are photographs, letters, typed and handwritten entries, business cards, announcements, newspaper clippings, obituaries, menus for official gatherings, and a commemorative booklet, <i>The Nurses’ Alumnae Association of the Toronto Western Hospital’s Diamond Jubilee 1898-1958</i>.

The Toronto Hospital ephemera collection is an assembly of material in various formats that have been accumulated by the UHN Archives from a variety of disparate sources including, but not limited to, family members of former staff or students, other repositories, or anonymous donations. Collection consists of textual records. Material in the collection relates to the history of The Toronto Hospital. Material is arranged by accession. No particular order has been imposed by the Archivist.

This series contains records related to the involvement of the Sisters of St. Joseph from the London diocese in the field of education in Toronto, Ontario. It consists of Sister M. St. Catherine’s yearbook from the University of Toronto, the Torontonensis.

Fonds consists of logbooks, subject files, and correspondence used by Swinton during his years of teaching. Other files include photographs and textual files related to Swinton’s early life in Britain, including his appointments at the British Museum, and his departure as Director of the ROM in 1966.

Fonds illustrates Ella N. Martin’s work as a senior lecturer at the Royal Ontario Museum and her interest in improving museum education. The fonds is arranged into twelve series, which span her entire career from the late 1930s to the mid 1970s. The fonds includes correspondence, publications, photographs, personal papers and journals, lecture notes, drafts of a book, student reports, course instructions, teacher evaluation forms, interpretative text, film and radio scripts, worksheets for children and other materials. The fonds also contains an accession record.

Fonds consists of drawings, watercolours and designs of A. H. Howard produced in Toronto between 1880 and 1914, especially in the sketchbooks in which Howard drew Ontario landscapes and towns, flowers, trees, human figures, factory interiors and other subjects. Similar drawings and watercolours are contained in two albums and a portfolio. Also included are examples of his decorative and calligraphic work from illuminated presentation addresses, certificates, bookplates and other materials.

Fonds consists of documentation of Colette Whiten’s artistic career, including records of exhibitions, commissions, grants, awards, and experiments with materials. Documentation of Whiten’s public art collaborations with Paul Kipps is included. Fonds also includes records of Whiten’s teaching activity at several different institutions, including the Ontario College of Art.

Fonds consists of personal and professional records of Michael Bidner, primarily created during the mid-
1970s to 1989. Files pertain to various projects during Bidner’s artistic career and include working files,
artwork, the artist’s publications, correspondence, ephemera, photographs and slides.

Fonds consists of Suzy Lake’s documentation of her artistic projects and exhibitions, records of her teaching activity at the University of Guelph, trial proofs used in the production of photo murals, and an example of early experimental work by the artist. Fonds also includes Lake’s grandfather’s sketchbook from his studies at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Fonds consists of Robert Fones’ correspondence, journals, sketchbooks, art production materials and files for artworks and public art commissions, unpublished handmade artists books, a set of rubber stamps used for correspondence art, and ephemera related to Coach House Press, a publisher Fones had a longstanding relationship with. Fonds also includes Fones’ research and business files as well as files related to his design, curatorial and writing projects.
