Item is a letter book created by Rowell while attempting to collect debts related to promissory notes made by farmers who had purchased farm equipment in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The letters in this book are written by Rowell to lawyers in his firm, including M.D. Fraser in London, T.H. Gilmour in Brandon and F.J. Calvert in Winnipeg, as well as local lawyers and clerks. These letters document Rowell's visits to farms near Brandon, Souris, Virden, Oak Lake, Moosomin, Wolseley, Qu-Appelle, and Regina and detail his strategies to negotiate debt repayment plans or make settlements with specific farmers. Letters also include Rowell's requests for advice and money, as well as his observations about the local weather and crop conditions and his experiences travelling without a driver and navigating the countryside.

Al Betts fonds

Records consist of photographs created by Streetsville resident Al Betts during his time as a professional photographer. Betts worked professionally as a photographer from ca. 1965 to ca. 1983.

Included are wedding portraits, passport portraits, photographs of various industrial and commercial properties, confirmation (first communion) photographs, and photographs taken for the Streetsville Review newspaper. The geographic coverage of the material is not limited to Streetsville or Toronto Township; Betts travelled throughout Ontario while working for clients, and as a result photographs of other locales are present (including Burlington, Etobicoke, and Toronto). One of Betts’ major commercial clients was the Toronto-based foundry and engineering company John T. Hepburn Ltd. and they sent him to document their projects throughout Ontario.

The content includes a listing of board of trustees and members of the teaching staff, Toronto special inducements to women pursuing the Study of Medicine, hints for intending students in medicine, courses of lectures and methods of instruction, clinical instruction (The Toronto General Hospital, St. Michael's Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto Western Hospital, The Women's Dispensary, Other Charities), course and examination, fees, recommended textbooks, student societies (Students' Literary and Scientific Society and Young Women's Christian Association), excerpts from the proceedings in medicine, college of physicians and surgeons of Ontario regulations for 1902-1903, standing obtained by the students of the college at the examinations of 1902, prize winners and graduates, and number of hospital and other appointments open to women physicians in the USA.

This collection consists of textual items collected by the Guelph Public Library Archives. The textual items consist of the program guides for the Women’s Literary Club of Guelph. These program guides list members, programme committee members, presidents and secretaries of the club, hosts, and the subjects of discussion.

This collection contains three program guides for the Huntsville Literary Club dating from 1933-1934, 1936-1937, and 1937-1938. Also included is an address by Dr. J.W. Mustard on Archaeology and history for the Macaulay Club of Chatham Ontario.

File consists of a satirical newspaper called "The Growler". The title was apparently printed weekly on Saturday afternoons.

While the item lists "Quirk, Gammon & Snap" as its editors, it was a project of the Brampton Times editor and his son, George and Luther "Lou" Tye.
