CA ON00313 1994-5013; 004-5013 · Fonds · 1931-1970

Fonds consists of three volumes of type-written memoirs by Dr. Margaret Strang Savage entitled "Life is an Adventure". The first two volumes chronicle her life growing up on a farm in Ontario, and her years as a doctor, missionary, and mother in the Peace River district and Cold Lake, Alberta. The third volume is a compilation of ten addresses given by Dr. Margaret Strang Savage in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It also contains some newsclippings about Dr. Savage, and a copy of the memorial service held in Cold Lake after her death, including a copy of the meditation. The fonds also consists of a letter written by Margaret Strang Savage on 11 January 1931, and sent to the Young People’s Society of Glenarm Presbyterian Church, Ontario. The letter details her activities as she began her medical missionary work in the Peace River District of Alberta.
