Oral History Project Research and Workshop Information

Series consists of articles and notes collected by the Port Hope Archives' archivist during the process of preparing the proposal for the "Our Memories: Downtown Port Hope" Oral History Project, 2012. It includes information and notes from "The ABCs of Oral History" Workshop held by the Archives Association of Ontario at its annual conference in 2012.

Oral History Project Business Directory Research

Series consists of research compiled from local business directories by a Port Hope Archives volunteer concerning the location of various businesses located within the downtown core of Port Hope, c1940-2012. It was created as a point of reference for the interviews conducted during the "Our Memories: Downtown Port Hope" Oral History Project, 2012.

Oral History Project Planning Scrapbook

Series consists of a scrapbook created by the Port Hope Archives' archivist to document the planning and development process of the "Our Memories: Downtown Port Hope" Oral History Project, 2012-2015. It was created using an empty vintage ledger book, and includes: notes, research, images, and various outcomes in the development of the project.
