The records within this series pertain to two aspects of Lynch’s life: that of his childhood and that of personal aspects of his adulthood. The records of his childhood include items related to school life such as yearbooks, report cards, school assignments, certificates/diplomas, and articles written for the school newspaper. They also include other aspects of his childhood such as newspaper clippings from his hometown, and family photos. Records which relate to his life as an adult include wills of himself and family members, graduate directories, university diplomas, curriculum vitae, immigration and moving records, house deeds and sale documents, renovations correspondence and plans, income tax forms, and photos of family and friends. Some records in this series relate to his work at the University of Toronto but fit best as personal records. These include documents around tenure, individual study courses, association documents, recommendations, committees, policies, academic surveys, and scholarship applications. Records include those made in the United States and Canada.
