Launched by Women's College Hospital in June 1994, Women's Health Matters was Canada's first national, subscription-based newsletter on women's health. The newsletter was a monthly consumer health-oriented newsletter dedicated solely to women's health issues. Much of the content was provided by the medical and professional staff of Women's College Hospital and included advice, tips, and health information for women.

The fonds consists of a complete collection of newsletters dating from 1994-2002, subscription information cards, a news release (1994) and a report entitled "Women's Health Matters: Readership Survey of Subscribers" from June 1995.
