This series consists of records that pertain to the governance and running of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chatham. It includes information about staff rules, graduate, committee and staff lists, financial information (e.g. building costs, etc.), speeches and correspondence, an artistic rendering of the hospital’s chapel, annual reports, floor plans and a fact sheet, press releases and memos, and important hospital certificates. This series also includes various volumes of the hospital’s newsletter, St. Joe’s Alive. Finally, the series contains histories, a list of administrators, an orientation manual, and the school mandate.
Series consists of annals of the hospital called chronicles; a house history consisting of an essay on the sisters; community history, newspaper clippings, correspondence, an invitation, flyers, and a press release; a memoire of a patient; and an essay on significant events at the hospital.
