Alfred Allan Stevenson (1854-1907) was born to Mr. & Mrs. J.W. Stevenson. He married Eunice Rosevear (1857-1885) in Port Hope on 21 Nov 1883. After the death of Eunice at the young age of 28, Alfred married Lillian Evelin Monaghan (1863-1949) on 27 Oct 1897. He did not have children with either woman. He is buried with his first wife, Eunice Rosevear, in Port Hope's Union Cemetery.

Donated to the Port Hope Archives by P. Bolton, 2013. Donor is a descendent of Mr. A.A. Stevenson.
Portée et contenu
Series consists of seven (7) Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) ribbons originally owned by Alfred A. Stevenson, c1895-1906. It includes:; I.O.O.F. Grand Lodge Representative Ribbon, Belleville, 1897; I.O.O.F. "Belleville for Grand Lodge" Ribbon, 1896; I.O.O.F. Durham Lodge No. 78 Entertainment Committee Ribbon; Orillia Firemen and Band Excursion to Port Hope Ribbon, 3 Aug 1905; I.O.O.F. Grand Lodge Ontario Representative, Hamilton, 1895; I.O.O.F. Grand Lodge Ontario Representative, Belleville, 1897; Union Jack Ribbon, undated.
