Holstein Pastoral Charge was established 1925, formerly Methodist, and included Orchardville, Varney, Letterbreen, Melville in Normanby Township, Yeovil; it was discontinued ca. 1965, when Conn-Holstein Pastoral Charge was formed. Holstein Methodist Circuit was formed ca. 1874, and included Orchardville, Varney, Yeovil, Mount Zion Church in Egremont Township; it was discontinued in 1925 when the United Church was formed. Holstein Methodist Church was established ca. 1874; it joined the United Church in 1925. Yeovil Methodist Church was active from at least 1894; it closed in 1922, Trustees continuing to administer its property until 1927. Trinity United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Melville United Church, Normanby Township, was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian; it closed ca. 1968.
