The Sudbury and District Historical Society (SDHS) fonds attests to the activities of the society. Most of the official and informal activities are well documented. The acquisitions are worth mentioning because of the variety of documents but also because of the significance of the archives collected.

This fonds consists of: minutes, correspondence, scrapbooks, reports, financial records, as well as printed materials. It also contains tape recordings, budget books, photographs, a travel diary, and notes on various family histories.
